Beyoncé Is Better than Tina Turner!?!

Oh, snap! Beyoncé is better than Tina Turner! Well that what Kanye West reportedly exclaimed to reporters in New Zealand. “She is just as great, if not greater, than artists we had in the past…she’s probably greater than Tina Turner,” West said, according to singerroom.
While high praises are always welcomed, even from someone prone to knuckle-headed hyperbole as West, but the statement almost seems like a stunt, as if he’s trying to start somethin’ between Tina and Beyoncé.
Beyoncé already got in trouble with Aretha Franklin for reading a script that introduced Tina as “the Queen” before their riveting performance at this year’s Grammy award show. Now it seems that outside forces are pitting a very appreciative Beyoncé against one of her mentors. Maybe Tina won’t take too much offense from Kanye’s remark. And if she does, let’s hope she doesn’t lash out against Beyoncé.
But what’s your opinion? Was Kayne’s comment disrespectful? Will it come to haunt Beyoncé in the future? Or is Tina just too cool and confident with her legendary status, that she could care less what Kanye says?
I love Beyonce. But come on now, how can you compare a living legend to someone who has not reached the level as Tina has. Sure Beyonce is now one of the top paid entertainers but that is because she has gone into other areas such as movies, commercials and her clothing line. Smart move on her part. But as far as comparing her to Tina who is 70, that in itself should tell you who is better. A living legend. When Beyonce gets 70 we will see who is better.
Its funny how people say Tina Turner is better but they can’t say WHY. People act like Tina Turner wasn’t shaking her behind either…lmao!

it takes years to earn that status its not only about hard work
and accomplishments, singing and performance
tina turner is both a diva and an icon
she’s earn her right to gain that title over the years
beyonce has a nice voice and is a great performer
her being with jay z helps her get more appreciation and more doors open
not to mention that her father threatens everyone that says something about bey that he totally disagrees with,
beyonce is diva and she can become an icon
people have to remember these women are in two different genore and era
music industry and fans now and days have set their own values and taste on what is good and what isnt
they are interested in what’s hot right now and beyonce is hot right now
think kanye talks to much and needs to relax
just yesterday he thought that rihana was hotter than beyonce
now are there better singers than beyonce and rihana HELL YES
leona lewis and lets not forget jennifer hudson
but these women are not the most popular ones
they are not that great in performing either
but beyonce and tina are greater performers
this doesnt mean that all of these women havent accomplish
something different
they are all unique and gifted
society just looks at the measure of success and what’s meaningful music differently than back in the day folks

I saw Beyonce on the Ellen show. And she said “Sasha fierce is definitely a different person than me, if I was on stage I would not want to run into her”. I think that proves my point of who was the bully when the real destiny’s child broke up. I feel like it has always been about her. Talented yes. But Jennifer Hudson blew her up in dreamgirls, she will never have the dept in her voice as jennifer, but she tries. And she probably will get a great legend award, doesnt mean that she deserves it. All that to the side,Beyonce has showed us that with hard work and determination you can go far.

Bey is tip notch, but she is NO Tina Turner and I’m a big fan of Beyonce! Now, Beyonce is definitely on her way to iconic status if she keeps going at the rate she’s been going, but there will never be another TINA TURNER! Hell NO, Beyonce is not better than the legendary Tina Turner. Back in the day or Tina’s day it was hard for black artist to be successful. Not only was Tina knocking down walls for Beyonce & others but she was getting her butt whipped by her husband. So to be black & to go out on stage after getting beat down & perform like no other is awesome. Beyonce is sitting backstage looking in the mirror or whatever, not going through anything types of obstacles or hardships. In other words she has it easy. And Duh, of course she’s better now because she’s younger & Tina is in her 70’s but she stills the best. Kanye is always making negative or unnecessary comments that make no sense.

Tina Turner set the standard to entertainment she is an icon. I would not say that Beyonce’ is better than Tina, I would say that Tina Turner did her thang in her day and is still doing her thang. There is someone that always have to pave the way and should I say Ms. Turner with reverance has difintely done that!
As far as Beyonce’ she’s doing her thang right now, I would go as far as to say she is the new age Tina Turner STOP hatin’ on the girl she has it going on and it’s just her season to shine so let her do what she does best!!!

I get so sick of people saying “Stop hating on Beyonce.” Ain’t nobody hating on her if you don’t like her you just don’t like her. Everyone is entitle to their own opinion. I’m not a Alicia Keys fan, Rihanna fan, Ashanti fan, nor Beyonce fan. If I said I didn’t like those artist wouldn’t nobody say anything. But soon as you say something negative about Beyonce everybody wanna say you hating. Yeah she’s a great performer and she’s beautiful & she will be the next Tina Turner when she’s 70 if she’s still performing… Is that hating? But I’m not a fan.
