Honestly, I think some of you got it right when you said that Kanye made the statement to sugar coat some of the other comments he has made about Beyonce. It’s obvious that Beyonce is not better than Tina Turner for the mere fact that she has not been in the business as long as Tina and has not had to endure as much (being abused, racism, staying in the business for as long as she has) as Tina has. I think both women are talented but there really isn’t anything to compare. We probably should wait 40 years and then answer this question.

If there was never a Tina Turner who then would you compare her as being better than. Come on folks Tina is a legend and obviouly if you,ve ever had the pleasure of seeing Ms. Turner you would know from B’s moves and dancing that Ms. Tina holds a great influence in her perfroming. just cause you have more awards dont make you a better artist or performer

more awards does let others know that you are becoming more well known
and you receive a higher level of recognition but that doesnt mean you are better
for example leona lewis can sing
rihana wins more awards, she’s not that talented
and being in different categories as an artist
doesnt mean that you cant tell who’s more talented than the other
that’s like saying lil wayne vs 50 cent
or jay z vs kanye west
we all have our own preference and different perspective

I would have to say that Im a fan of both, I cant say that beyounce is better than tina it takes time to get were tina’s at .Voice and lyrics tellsit all ,Tina is a soul singer beyounce music really dont have soul when listen to the lyrics it have no meaning and her videos never makes no since to what she’s talking about. If everyone stop watching her shake her but and listen to the lyrics then u can have ur honest judgement. I love Kanye, but I hope he didn’t say that. Tina Turner is a legend who has endured great obstacles to get to where she is today. Also, there would be no Beyonce if it weren’t for artists of the past like Ms. Turner. But we all know that Kanye says stuff to make headlines. He probably doesn’t even believe what he said. Heck, a few weeks ago, he supposedly said something bad about Beyonce. And he could have been misquoted. Regardless, I feel like Kanye is going through a rough time right now.
