Brandy Was a Common Law Wife. Oh, the Scandal.

So Brandy wasn’t legally married to Robert Smith six years ago when she had his child, Sy’rai. <crickets>. Somehow, this is big news. At least, according to US Magazine, in which the singer confessed lying about being marriage to Smith to save her reputation as a teenage role model. After all, she’d starred in the TV production of Cinderella and the UPN show Moesha.‘
Folks, I can’t keep from yawning about this. Maybe, I’m just too cynical to care one way or the other. Maybe, it’s because I’m not a teenager so I don’t look at Brandy as a role model. Maybe, it’s because I’m not a parent of a teenager. Maybe, it’s because they’re no longer together. Maybe, it’s because I never really dug her music. But that’s just me.
How much do you care?
Maybe it was a good decision at the time for her or her mother, because it seems her mom was a bit too involved in her life. But anyway that the past move on. I like Brandy she is a good singer and actress.

look she’s doing her thing and living her life, her daughter’s here now and that can’t be changed. i wasn’t the biggest brandy fan in the world but i did like her music. but from the time she became a mom all the way up til now i grew to have lot’s of respect for her…………… i get so so tired of people thinking that just becuz their celebs that they not entitled to mess up from time to time their still human…………….. she didn’t do anything that people in the real world have either done or are doing now……………………….. but becuz she’s a celeb your ready to judge her? if that’s the case then for every person in the world that’s in that’s in the same situation, should be judged. but none of us have that right but the big man up above. i don’t condone that myself but im definitely not in any position to judge………………………………..
I’m not a big fan of Brandy’s music nor am I a big fan of her acting skills. She has made some questionable decisions and being a “role model” she should be careful in her decision making.

she didnt need to hide it
she was already in her 20’s when it happened
it worse then the humiliation of him telling people
you were his jump off due to him rebounding from his ex-girlfriend
and who goes on oprah and lie
it makes her look bad for putting her air time and confidence
in you telling the audience and fans the truth
she lied for nothing but anyway life goes on
she’s doing her thing and taking care of her child
but she should remember that god always has the first and last say
you cant please everyone cause someone will always have something to say
Brandy lied but so what! People tell that lie everyday. They just don’t have a reality tv show based around it,lol

well, the writer of this blog is bored so why are they bothering to write about it..?and besides, brandy was a role model to teens at that time.. before the advent of fiddy and lil wayne and all that nonsense … there may be no standards now.. but she represented a time when there where …
she has suffered enough, when the accident that killed that lady happened i thought she didnt care .but she did.. am sure she thinks of those poor boys who lost their mum. its so unfortunate as she was busy trying to save a doomed relationship at the time.. i wish her the best as “mosha “will always have a soft spot in my heart… i loved the show and the spin off…i wish she would do a one off special just to tie up all the characters and pay tribute to the late male co star that died in that car accident.
