Fantasia Being Evicted?!?! Say It Isn’t So

December 9th, 2008

Fantasia

We’re all hunkering down trying to keep our coins in our purses and our dollars in our wallets. Much of the economic meltdown has focused on the housing market with various people losing their homes.

According to US Magazine, Fantasia is facing eviction from $1.3 million, six-bedroom mansion in North Carolina, because of unpaid mortgage payments. Unless she can make them by the end of the month, she’ll lose the house.

If this news is true – and God knows I wish it wasn’t – whose fault is it? Of course, we can only surmise. So is it Fantasia for not keeping taps of her finances? Is it her former management team, 19 Recordings for not keeping taps and/or not informing her?  Or should the blame to put on both?

so, 19 management are responsible for fanstasias spending habits?. since when?. whoever this blogger is needs to check themselves.. you write like an idiot . perhaps 19managment and simon cowell should be responsible for fanstasias dirty knickers and come wash them every week to make sure she has clean pairs of knickers to wear outside every day. ? plonker.

you have to look at your star status before you go out and start buying all these cars and these big houses . she is not that big of an artist, and times are hard she is probably trying to help out her friends and family and of couse you cant do that all the time even if you would love to making a new might not make it better either because it might go as well she would hope for it so the best solution is she only got one child get a nicer but affordable house and maybe a little smaller where as if she wanted to plan for another child she can still do it and have plenty of room. And it’s not bad to tell people they need to get out and make there own money either. you been shopping at wal-mart and stores of that nature continue you might be fantasia but the money aint there honey.

Fantasia I’m your biggest fan. Sorry you are going thru so much distress with loosing your home. Hope something works out for you god will bless you. I do want to say that sometimes artist bite off more than they can chew. The music business is very unpredictible you have so many elements that can become obstacles such as: competition, marketing, creative ideas, and shady music dealings. I f you made good on a first album that does not qualify you to purchase a 1.6 million dollar home.
A second album you make alright profits ,still does not qualify you to continue to make payments on your mortgage for the next 30years think about it. you could have bought a foreclose home for $250,000 and redecorated and be done, that home is yours its paid for.

I find this amazing. Why does one need a $1.3 million dollar house after releasing 1 album? Wow. Amazing. North Carolina? You can get a fantastic house for half that money and still live comfortably.

How about a $300K PAID FOR home? Idiot. Will we ever learn. Rich is not defined by what we make. It is what you keep and what actually WORKS FOR YOU.

Idiot. Jennifer please take note. Live within your means.

Fantashia, stay focus and trust God. God is your helper and your shield. So when things come like this in all your ways ackowledge Him and He shall direct your path. Ask God for wisdom, knowlege and understanding in this situation and it shall be given unto you. Its time to pray, pray, and pray. cause prayer changes everything.

@Robert Picart …she has two CD’s and is currently working on the third. I agree she could buy a cheaper house but she can’t live in a $300,000 house surrounded by working class folks for security reasons. Also, she is not an idiot. She is still very young. She’s got lots of time to recover from this.

Oh have Granny and Moma start a can food line…be creative…you’ve got the money.

I heard touring is how artists make most of the money, not cd sales. I wish her the best and hope she can find someone to help her manage her money.

NO she is not broke!!.. she had a house, that was suppose to be paid,by Jive Records, it was in her contract,.. so when she left Jive Record the contract end. and so was the payment on the house. which Fantasia wasn’t aware of..by then the house was $58,000 in past due payment.

Tom Said on

IT IS NOT TRUE!
THE TRUTH IS, Fantasia’s house was NOT in foreclosure, she is NOT broke, and Simon did NOT give her any money. It was a simple dispute over an OLD loan payment. Don’t be duped by the National Inquirer and Media Take-Out where these stories originated, both well-known for lying about celebrities.

Dang, what’s Fantasia doing in a 1.2 million dollar home anyway? Was she doing that well that she had enough money to splurge that much? I thought she was more niche than that.
