II think that they both are childish about the issue get a life. Guess black folks done forgot where we came from they both need to appreciate eachother.I think that both of them are crazy for letting the outsider mess this up for them.I wish they could all get along and leave trash and mess along.I ‘m still afan of Mrs. Jackson love her to the end she is doing it big.

I love both artist and have for a long time.. After reading all the comments, let’s face it. I don’t care how you dress it up or try to make it look good, the core of the situation is still the same. Both families had parents who helped their children to get to where they are, no matter what their struggles were, or where thier struggles began. Middle class or low class, or just simply being a minority, we know that the Jacksons had tough times for whatever reason and if you really want to get to the just and stop suger coating everything, when the truth be told and if we were allowed to be a fly on the wall of B’s career, I am sure that all was not a bed of roses for her and her family either. Was she wrong for what she said? Maybe. To herself, maybe she was just trying to prove a point. Would I be upset behind it. Maybe, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. In this life you are not going to like what everyone has to say no matter how you state it. Putting any dislike or prejudices aside from any of these people/ artist, As a family, if Solange did make this statement I applaud her for sticking by her own. Stop condeming or bashing her for it. If this was your sibling or parent or child, I am sure you would do the same as Solange did.

This whole situation is corny to me. First off, Joe Jackson did in fact push his kids to stardom, with techniques that weren’t good…only going by the depiction in the movie. For Beyonce to come out of the side of her neck like that was unfair. Although, your father didn’t use you to get out of situation, please don’t act like your dad didn’t “pimp” you in some sort of way.

Mr.Knowles clearly has created a marketing technique for his daughter by changing the starting line up to ensure his own daughters success. It was never about Destiny Child’s success, it was all about Beyonce! Beyonce received way more video shots, she was always in the middle of pictures when the group was cut down to three. I’ve read several stories from former members about your father’s antics so let’s not paint Daddy Knowles as some saint. Kelly was the only smart one, she played her role and collected those checks. I’m not mad at her! And Poor Jay-z, you’ve been bamboolzed into thinking her family accepts you. They like you because of what you stand for, it fits the image they have painted for their daughter. Trust, its a good thing you got all that money that you have now, because trust if you were the Jay-Z from the “Reasonable Doubt” days, I have no doubt in my mind the Knowles wouldn’t have been there with open arms.
