J-Lo Back on the Block

J-Lo may be headed for the block, for real, if her record and movie sales don’t stop plummeting. Her Spanish-language album, Como Ama una Mujer came and went, almost unnoticed, earlier this year; and her newest disc, Brave ain’t necessarily burning up the charts either.
Word on the streets has it that Sony is considering dropping J-Lo from the roster, because of bad records sales and escalating costs (e.g. makeup, hair, nails) of being a high-profile diva. To add more insult to injury, rumor has it that Lopez’s new movie, Bordertown won’t make it to theaters; instead it going striaght to DVD, even though it features Martin Sheen and Antonio Banderas.
So are we seeing the last of J-Lo or is this just another bump in the road? Do you think she has the talent to pull off Mariah Carey-like comeback?

Maybe it’s time to just sit back and chill and enjoy your family. I’m sure you’ll be alright if you never work again. It’s a blessing to be able to retire young and beautiful. Enjoy it!

TALENT IS THE OVERRIDING DENOMINATOR THAT CAN`T BE FIZZLED OUT. AND L AS YOU PUT IT SHE`S QUITE SUCCESSFUL IN OTHER AREAS SO THAT`S WHERE HER FOCUS SHOULD BE. SHE FOCUS TOO MUCH ON BEING A DIVA RATHER THAN REALIZING THAT AS A RECORDING ARTIST HER TIME IS UP. SHE CERTAINLY USED PEOPLE TO GET INTO THE GAME,BUT WE`RE NOW WELL INTO THE FOURTH QUARTER AND SHE`S FALLEN WAY BEHIND. HER 15 MINUTES ARE UP.
Dont get me wrong I think she is beautiful and a wonderful dancer but me as an individual never knew what the hype was about anyway.
I loved her early music, but now, it’s not hot. She got with that #%~ husband of hers, and became a different person. She’s just not herself anymore, and if you look closely at pictures of them, she looks unhappy, and her smiles look forced. He looks controlling, and obviously he has taken charge of her, and her music. Do you know why her albums are flopping? Two words: HER HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
