New Beef for 2009: Lil Kim v Faith Evans

As the hip-hop nation prepares for the forthcoming biopic, Notorious, which details the life of slain rapper, Notorious B.I.G., Lil Kim is already fuming about her portrayal in the movie as the constant concubine in Biggie’s life, while he was married to Faith Evans.
I’ve had enough and I’m about to expose them both… I’ve been quiet for a long time,” Lil Kim told Hip-hop Weekly, also referring to Biggie’s mother, Violetta Wallace . Lil Kim argues that the movie sensationalizes her relationship with Biggie.
Umm. OK. It’s interesting that Lil Kim is playing it all humble and everything as if she didn’t know that Faith was Biggie’s wife. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but this little titillating bit makes me want to see it even more.
Do you think Lil Kim’s statement is a publicity stunt to draw attention to herself and revive her career? Or are her concerns legitimate? And lastly, do you think that she should let bygones be bygones?

i think lil kim is definitely trying to get some attention with her comment, because everyone knew her and the dude where messing around. She didnt mind sleeping with a married man so she shouldnt mind being portrayed for what she really was in that triangle.
I don’t think any woman would want to be portrayed as a concubine, meddling in a couples relationship. She probably did not view herself as that. Reality slaps hard, instead of slapping back, I would suggest she just view it as a season of her life.

i believe they should have involved kim in the making of the film being that she is being potrayed in it. At the same time we all know wat it really was and is. Lots of people that was involved in B.I.G life/career is going to bring a lot of things to light thats not in the movie so get ready
Lil Kim knew that Biggie was married to Faith when she decided to be his mistress (she’s rapped about it, others have, too). She should just let it go. If she’s going to be mad at anyone, it should be the one that produced it, wrote it. faith has moved on in her life and so should Kim. Please someone tell Kim tostop with the cosmetic surgery…enough is enough!!!
No woman wants to be second to any other woman! Lil Kim is realizing she was SECOND! It didnt look like it because Faith took the background and wasnt all in the limelight while lil Kim ran her mouth about being Biggies “Whatever” and she (kim) felt like she was really doing something. This move is Reality and just like always said “it slaps HARD”!
they need to grow up be lady’s and let it go
