I love Whitney and am have been a supporter of hers thru thick and thin. The cover is ok. I don’t know why she felt it was necessary to pose this way. To me, it was a bit much. It tells me she has something to prove.

Since the release of the picture, label representatives of Whitney Houston has put out a statement.

As many are aware, for the last couple of days there have been fake posting of Whitney’s forthcoming Cd Cover. It’s totally web generated by a member of a Whitney fan site to cause hysteria among Whitney’s loyal fans.

The allegedly “new” Whitney Houston album cover circulating throughout the internet is not a legitimate

album cover for Ms. Houston’s forthcoming Arista disc. Ms. Houston is still recording and we look forward to unveiling new music along with the official
album cover in due time.

In July an unmixed song with Whitney Houston on it entitled “Like I never Left” leaked onto the internet which was produced by Akon. The song reportedly is expected to be on her upcoming album and is the first album studio song heard of Houston since 2006.

As a Whitney Houston fan, mind you, she’s not the only one I am a fan of. I have a feeling that Whitney Houston is going to make a huge comeback. I have followed her life as best as I was able to so far. I do know one thing, I have met people who have known her personally, and they believe that she’s got what it takes to truly win everyone back on her side. And yes, from the information that I do have, first hand; she truly has recovered totally from her past, and she’s not looking back anymore, but forward to her career and her children. She’s a tough cookie, and I would give her lots of credit for her comeback CD. She knows the industry very well, and she knows exactly what the audience love to hear from her. She’s been exercising her body into shape, and the picture you are witnessing is not a fake. She’s been working out; both physically, mentally, emotionally, vocally, and of course, spiritually. I’ve heard her new song off the record, she’s without a doubt is back in the game again, full force; and I have feeling she’s going to step up on the charts so fast that the critics heads would spin wondering how it happened. Well, I have one answer: She’s Got Charisma.

P.S. Spring-Summer of 2009 is also my year to make it in the business with my single “Nature Boy”. Keep your ears on the dial and you will hear me on several radio stations and eventually on Much Music and other Music Stations; especially on 103.9 Pride FM Toronto.

I’m gonna agree and say I don’t believe this is necessarily Whitney, like someone said early photoshop is everywhere. However, if it is I think we should just be thankful that she’s back and the fact that she kicked the drugs…and more importantly, Bobby, out of her life is enough for me. Go Whitney!

The CD cover is not the issue here. I think Whitney looks great regardless. I’m glad she is coming out of seclusion. We all make mistakes and that’s a fact. Since the beginning of her career she never got really good media cover. It was always about the negatives, but the public loved her anyway never mind what the naysayers, the media, or the tabloids had to say. The reason why we in this country haven’t heard from her in a while is because she has been performing over seas in Europe, Asia, and Africa. For some reason foreigners don’t care about celebrities personal lives because they have there own lives to think about. They love performers like Whitney for their artistry only. In our country we tend to build celebrities up and tear them down when they don’t meet our expectations at all times. Like life is all fun and games. So Whitney it’s good that you’re back and I’m praying for you like always. Everyone needs prayer.
