Who is Sasha Fierce? Is it some rakish drag queen doing his best lip-sync performance of Ru Paul’s “Supermodel (You Better Work)” or some all purple suit donning pimp, wearing platform shoes and a white fur coat? Well it’s neither.
Sasha Fierce is Beyoncé’s new alter-ego that she’ll unveil on her upcoming two disc, I Am . . . Sasha Fierce, according to Billboard magazine. Dropping on Nov. 18, one disc will showcase her pop side with songs written by Amanda Ghost and E. Kidd Bogart, while the other one will highlight her R&B roots with songs produced by Jim Jonsin, Tricky Stewart and Bangladesh.
OK, why am I not all excited? I love the alter-ego name, Sasha Fierce. I just wished that the concept behind it had more imagination than the “pop versus R&B.” Guess I was hoping for something more outlandish like David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust or Janelle Monae’s Cindi Mayweather – you know, something for futuristic and edgy to give justice to the alter-ego’s name. I bet lil sis, Solange could pull off a this off much better.

Here we go with the haters. Come on…… Are people so gullible to think that Beyonce would steel a song from someone and put it out as one of her first singles and not be sued. She is so successful that she needs take a break and let some new artist get some shine. Yeah someone actually said that. Come on. That’s like me thinking I make too much money at my job, why don’t I quit and find another job. That had to be a child that posted that. Beyonce is coming y’all just need to be ready, I am….
I’m tired of her. She’s burnt out. I mean she’s just trying to hard. First the movie and she was asked NOT to do it by Etta James, then she declares herself an icon (how do you declare yourself), OK now she has an alter-ego. Get outta here…The way she treated the members of her group…Come on now. LaToya was cuite, so she kicks her out, Farah was FLY & beautiful. so she kicks her out. You notice you never see her with anyother light skinned long haired girls (and I am one). When I saw her on stand-up for cancer with short hair I almost passed out. Not too even talk bad about her, buit I’m over her. Now maybe someone in the 18-26 age range. Not a grown woman…GIVE ME MARY J instead…Bye B
What is this world coming to? Can’t u c that this young lady has major issues. Yes, she’s very talented and a great performer but she has more than one personality, so look out JZ, if she ever flips on u “I’m going to say “I told u so”

When I first read the question “Who is Sasha Fierce?” on bet.com, I thought dat Beyonce was gonna be a rapper b/c of the alter ego name. i mean, Mary J. Blige’s alter ego Brook Lynn is a rapper & i actually thought that Beyonce was gonna be the same as Mary J now.
I love any & everything Beyonce makes, just sumthing bout her & her swagger that makes her stand out from other artist. she is in a world by herself. she so on.

I love Beyonce and all… but this alter ego thing is worriying me! I mean I have every reason to be worried you seen what happened to T.I and T.I.P or should I just say T.I.P. Lets just hope Sasha Fierce dont do anything crazy off stage. Im just sayin….. Still Love You Bey!!!!!!!!!

I want to make it known first of all that I am an advid Beyonce fan, I always have been just because she is talented as hell and can perform her ass off! I always look forward to everything she puts out. She can sing anything and her videos are always colorful and entertaining so I was really looking forward to hearing what ever she was going to bring out. I was a little skeptical the first time I heard “Irreplaceable” but then after hearing it again, I loved it. After I heard “if I was a boy” and “If you like it…shoulda put a ring on it” I’m like WTF!
I guess I really expected something a little more sultry and seductive from an alter ego named Sasha Fierce!
I hope this won’t be a bad move for her….only time will tell.

What I dont understand is why can she talk about herself and her life only when she is trying to sell the public something…….. any other time she does not want to be bothered….. That is why I am not buying the album
