UPDATED THE DESIGN
We updated the design so it’s more in line with the BET brand. Hopefully you’ll agree that we’ve made it cooler, more stylistic and true to African-American culture.

You’ll notice that we’ve introduced a collage at the top of the page. We’ll be updating the collage frequently. This is a major element of the site design so let us know what you think.

IMPROVED THE NAVIGATION
We changed the navigation to drop downs menus. This allows you to go directly to other content wherever you are in the music channel.

The music channel includes:

• News & Interviews: Get the latest information about your favorite artist. We offer daily music news, interviews with artists and other breaking news pieces.
• Songs: Find out which CD’s are dropping this week in ‘New Releases’, preview new albums BEFORE they hit the stores with ‘BET Transmission’, join our listening party at ‘Listen Up!’ and see how BET brings you an artist experience with ‘BET Official’.
• Videos: Check out the videos you should know about from the your favorite artist. We’ve also included videos from our users. ‘Ya Heard’ features videos from unsigned artists.
• Community: Discuss your favorite artist, find out when they are on tour, or participate in a BET Contest.

SHARING WHAT’S GOOD
When you go through the site you will notice that we link out to other sites. We’ve taken the philosophy that our job is to give you the hottest things in African-American culture … wherever it is. If the hottest video is on MTV, BETonBlast, YouTube or some obsure website from Japan we’ll link you there.

EXCUSE THE MESS
As we migrate our content onto our new site, on occassion you may link back to the old site. We hope you’ll excuse the mess but hope the patience will be well worth it.

THE REST OF THE SITE
In the near future we will continue to roll out updates to the Music channel and. if we get postiive feedback on this design, integrate all that is good into the designs of the other channels. If there are specific channels you’d like to see updated first, let us know which one and why.
