Will Cassie get the last laugh?

In the aftermath of the latest nude picture leaks,  Rihanna kept a game face while court side at the Lakers vs. Magic game this weekend, while Cassie spent time in Los Angeles busy doing promo work for her (ridiculously delayed) sophomore album.

In an interview with JoJo Wright of LA’s KIIS FM the singer was all too willing to discuss her nudie pictures (before plugging the album and her latest singe “Must be Love,” of course) saying she’s  “somewhat close” to finding out who  leaked them (Riiight.) from her email account where they were saved after she sent them to a significant other:

“It was in an old email from like last year that I had. Actually a Gmail, Gmail is sometimes the worst. That’s how I got a lot of songs leaked too at the same time.”

What’s that Cass? You just happened to have your naked pictures leaked at the same time that your new music was leaked which just so happened to be around the same time you shaved your head half-bald? Girl bye! I’m sure these neat little coincidences have nothing to do with the fact that you can’t sing a lick, can’t dance and need some kind of push to make sure somebody buys this album so you’re not sitting in a cubicle come 2010?

Besides some obvious publicity for the album that supposedly now comes out on June 30th, the singer has apparently gained a valuable lesson (I can’t keep a straight face) from the debacle about sending pictures of herself in the buff:

“I’ve learned not to send a picture through email obviously….everybody can learn from this situation: don’t send pictures though email! Don’t do it!”

Thanks for that. The world really needed to hear that moral of the story because we’ve never seen anything like this before.
