If you’ve watched The View in recent months (and if you haven’t, don’t be throwing shade at me for doing so) then you’ve likely picked up on Whoopi Goldberg’s uh, annoyance, with the show – namely the woman in charge, Barbara Walters.

I just assumed Whoopi was getting tired of the format, but there might be something else going on between the two media legends…

Barbara Walters, a sexy septuagenarian until she turned 80 in September, has a new leading man — Frank Langella. After three marriages and many beaus, Walters took the star, who has played both Dracula and Richard Nixon, to the Literary Lions dinner at the Public Library. Plus, they were together for the weekend recently in Washington for the Kennedy Center Honors. Langella is the former love of Walter’s co-star on “The View,” Whoopi Goldberg. Walters told Page Six: “Frank and I have been friends for many years and will continue to be friends for many years, but it’s not a romance.”

If you didn’t know, Babs wrote in her book that she dated a married senator back in the day (a Black man, at that) and has been known to keep a man. I know you don’t think of Barbara like that because she seems 120, but hey, she gets it in.

Only probably — it’s not a good idea to do so with the former longtime boyfriend of your employee.
