T.I.: No ‘Tool,’ No ClubPublished by Runteldat on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at 12:00 am.
No, it’s because G.I. Joe’s rap hero doesn’t feel safe in VIP without any weaponry.
Indeed, Tip says he’d rather spend time with the family in order to avoid any potential trouble.
He explained to Complex magazine:
“I don’t go out as much… I’m just uncomfortable having no tool. Even when I have security. I’m more comfortable knowing there’s one around – but not having one myself, being used to having one for so long and being in places and around people that I know got ‘em, I’m just uncomfortable. So I stay out of that environment as much as possible.”
That’s probably for the best.
In other T.I. club news, his own club is in danger of losing its liquor license because one too many drunks have caused trouble.
Via That B!tch from Rhymes With Snitch:
After numerous reports of violence involving drunk patrons, T.I.’s Club Crucial got their liquor license restricted for 30 days and slapped with a $50,000.00 fine.
Atlanta officials wanted to revoke the liquor license altogether, citing a “systematic failure to supervise” but T.I.’s lawyers assured them they had “a viable security plan that addresses security on site”.
The final decision is up to Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, who is expected to make his decision in the coming weeks.
Do you know what a club without alcohol looks like? Yeah, me neither.
