Usher Breaks His Digital Death Pledge

In what can only be deemed as another blow to Alicia Keys’ Digital Death campaign for AIDS awareness, one of the celebrities who vowed to remain silent broke his pledge – all to say Happy Birthday.
Indeed, Usher was quote tweeting the following:
The point of Alicia Keys’ campaign was to have a number of celebrities vow their digital death on various social networking sites until a $1,000,000 was raised.
Thus far they’ve only raised $300,000, and call it a hunch but Usher’s tweet very likely isn’t helping the cause.
