Jamie Foxx Still Deals With Racial Profiling

He may be wealthy enough to afford to live in the affluent California neighborhood known as Westlake, but that doesn’t mean Jamie Foxx doesn’t have to still deal with the complexities of race in this country like the rest of us.
Speaking to WENN, the Oscar-winner and platinum-selling recording artist says he still has to contend with racial profiling on occasion.
“I get pulled over all the time. I live in Westlake. A Black man in Westlake? That just don’t happen. I got pulled over the other day for being Black and happy. ‘What’s all that smiling about? You’re smiling back there.’ I was guilty.”
