As Halle Berry celebrates a short-term win in what looks to be a long legal fight, she and Gabriel Aubry have reportedly decided to stop the public mudslinging while they endure their custody battle.

RadarOnline.com says the two have called a truce for now, and while it may not exactly be complete peace, it won’t be the all-out war they were heading towards.

They report:

Halle is not going to seek sole custody of Nahla, the source says, adding that legal threats have been flying behind the scenes.

Several negative items about Aubry have appeared in the media recently, and Halle released a statement through her rep, saying she was “concerned” for her child’s well-being while she was in Gabriel’s care.

It appears the two are even on speaking terms now.

As for the aforementioned legal victory for Berry, TMZ says a judge has ruled she will be allowed to take her daughter, Nahla, with her as she prepares to shoot a new film.

They also added that Gabriel has withdrawn his public custody petition, but is still filing a paternity action that will be kept private within the court.
