Former Spice Girl Melanie Brown revealed to Hello! magazine that she and husband Stephen Belafonte are welcoming a baby this summer.

“We’re really thrilled. We wouldn’t have planned and waited for four years to have a baby if we weren’t excited and ready for it,” she said. This will be the third child for Brown who already has two daughters, Phoenix, 12, and Angel, three, from past relationships with Jimmy Gulzar and Eddie Murphy. Belafonte also has a daughter Gisele, six, also from a previous relationship.

The pop star said things will be different this time around. “Both my pregnancies have been lucky and happy and exciting, no matter what situation I’ve been in,” she said. “This is different because we have been married for four years. We have a history together. We’re best friends. We’re in it together and he’s totally supportive.”
