Chris Brown Fires Back at Fox News’ Criticism

Once again, a Chris Brown triumph is another cause for conflict and controversy, especially among those who don’t want to let the young man have a fresh start.

The day after C Breezy broke an attendance record for the 18,000 fans who turned out to see his performance on the Today show, Fox News’ Laura Ingraham hit the airwaves to criticize Brown, his fans and NBC for giving the R&B star support.

“Whatever you think of his music,” said Ingraham, “Chris Brown beat his girlfriend to a pulp, he uses the N-word, the C-word, the S-word, the F-word, the most degrading, misogynistic lyrics in some of his top songs like ‘Look at Me Now.’”

And, as usual, Brown took to his airspace—via Twitter—to respond.

“People really should grow up sometimes!” he tweeted. “I guess the next story they make up will say Chris Brown paid the fans to come! #stopit hahaha.”

“I get it though,” he added. “They are upset at the fact that the today show actually focuses on talent instead of an almost 3 year old incident! Running bogus and pointless stories don’t matter!”

At this point does it really matter what anyone at Fox says or thinks?  Their huffing over Black pop stars—especially controversial ones—getting the center stage has lost traction. (That became apparent when their cries over Common performing poetry at the White House went nowhere). Then again, what do you expect from a network that forgives the transgressions of fellow conservatives, but not a young Black singer that their kids watch with adoration, paying attention to what needs to scrutinized: Brown’s genuine talent.

With all the cheating, stealing that is going on with your so called political and other fame person, people seem to be able to forgive and forget so why not this young man? Yes he may or may not have made a mistake but who hasn’t? As long as he is trying to better his life leave him along. And for those of you that have no life, get one and leave the ones that is trying to better theirs along.

I bet Fox loves Chad Muska…..the skateboarder who called the security guards the “N’ word, while he was vandalizing some business……

FOX News tries too hard. smh …I don’t even know why they still call it FOX “news”. TMZ is more credible than them.

if 18,000 fans showed and he didn’t come then 18,000 fans shouldnt buy his next cd or support him. i bet he’d try to make every appreance then and be on tv shows askin for forgiveness. These record companies need to start checkin their artists. in the late 90’s and early 2000’s the real artists didn’t miss their shows and if not they made up for them.

Well Oprah thought she could say what ever she wanted to and she when it came to her own people but however she lost a lot of real supporters when she felt rappers should be punished for their lyrics. But i understand if you are not apart of the culture you don’t understand and some people will never get it. i don’t agree with the situation between the young lady & Chris but we all know stuff happens that we are not always proud of. and we sometimes forget that not everyone is forgiving especially the news. however you have to learn to ignore some things before they die just like watering a plant ignore it it dies

PEOPLE JUST CANT GET OVER THE PAST AND ALWAYS WANTS SOMEBODY TO LOOK BAD NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU TRY TO DO BETTER! IF IT WERE THEM THEY WOULD WANTTHE SAME FORGIVENESS! LEAVE THE PAST IN THE PAST IN MOVE ON WITH THE FUTURE! LIFE IS WAY TO SHORT TO HOLD GRUDGES AND BRING PEOPLE DOWN! ALL THIS THEY’RE DOING TO CHRIS IS @@#??*#?!!! EVERYBODY MAKES MISTAKES! HE’S HUMAN JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE! AND IM SURE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE TALKING ABOUT HIM AND JUDGING HIM HAVE SKELETONS IN THEIR CLOSET THEMSELVES!! UGGH GROW UP!

Fox news should be ashamed of their self why cant they just let that situation go how can u get mad at the fact that his fan for gave Chris for what he did and in then bible god said don’t dwell in the past. he did his time so lets leave it alone Don’t get mad because he knows how to man up to what he did. Chris is a great person that made a mistake I love Chris Brown and i will stay by his side forever regardless of what he does or what he did

Funny how BET is now defending Chris cause its Fox News but has been attacking him to protect the homosexuals. Something is definitely wrong with this picture. Yet the reason they put this photo of Chris out there is because he looks gay. So sad, any intelligent person can see the two mindedness and liberal lunacy in their articles in regard to conservatism and homosexuality. They label conservatism, faith and morality as BAD and murderous, unatural homosexuality as GOOD. Just as the “Listen to Pastors about the Debt and health care but don’t listen to them about homosexuality and morality. Does anybody else see the sick political correctness going on here. WAKE UP PEOPLE!
