Actress Stacey Dash hit Twitter to announce her endorsement of Mitt Romney for president… Needless to say she, as a Black woman, received more than enough heat for making her decision public.
Sunday, Dash tweeted a sexy Americana-themed photo along with the message: “Vote for Romney. The Only Choice for your future.” And the backlash soon followed with someone commenting, “Still clueless.”
“You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney,” tweeted another person. “You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot.”
Stacey’s response was on the side of American ideals of personal freedom writing: “My humble Opinion… EVERYONE is entitled to one.”
The star of the classic ‘90s film Clueless did receive support from Romney supporters who urged like-minded voters to have Dash’s back on the social network.
While many may not support the actress’s political choice, the least folks can do is respect her right to choose.
