Christina Aguilera Offered $3 Million to Endorse Plus-Sized Dating SitePublished by Natasha Fierce on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 10:00 am.
If Christina Aguilera is piling on the pounds in a bid to win a lucrative weight loss contract, she may be able to cash out without all that pesky dieting.
The “Beautiful” singer has been offered a three million deal to endorse a plus-sized dating site called The Big and the Beautiful, launched by America’s Next Top Model winner Whitney Thompson. The dating site, which is “specifically designed for women with curves,” wants Aguilera to be be in commercials and radio spots, do photo shoots for the homepage, commit to public appearances, and sing a jingle for the website to earn the giant paycheck.
While Aguilera hasn’t accepted the offer, she hasn’t yet rejected it either. And the message of the matchmaking site is consistent with her own. Xtina recently went on record to defend her weight gain, saying “the challenge I’ve always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty… If you can work it and you can own it, that confidence is going to shine through.”
Jokes aside, a groundbreaking move like this could pave the way for a lot of full-figured stars to stop apologizing for their curves and start putting them to use.
One small problem, though: isn’t Christina still dating this guy?
