Scottie Pippen Called N-Word By Attacked FanPublished by on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 10:00 am.
As more details in the recent Scottie Pippen fan beatdown story comes to light, the more the altercation makes sense.
Sources close to Pippen say that the middle-aged fan that got attacked by the former Chicago Bull star instigated the incident by being drunk and overly aggressive. The man harassed Pippen with questions and even sat at his table inside Nobu Malibu while he dined with friends.
Scottie later agreed to take a photo with the man outside the restaurant, but the fan continued with his belligerent behavior and demanded an autograph. When Pippen refused to give out his John Hancock, the man pushed Scottie, dropped the N-bomb and spat at him.
Onlookers say Pippen flew into rage when the spit landed on his young daughter, which is completely understandable. Apparently the police also agreed. Even though the victim suffered injuries to his face, head and back, Pippen was still not arrested after he spoke with authorities.
Finally, justice served…cold.
