For Terrence Howard the second time—in this case, his second former marriage—isn’t the charm. According to him, it’s leaving him with very little money… and he wants justice.
TMZ reports that the actor recently filed court papers requesting that the divorce settlement he made with his ex-wife, Michelle Howard. Terrence claims that, to obtain their agreement, his ex threatened him with blackmail if he didn’t sign on to the amount—about $325,000—she wanted. But Michelle is standing her grounding, demanding that he pay her what she’s owed.
In response, the Best Man Holiday star says he couldn’t pay that because he only makes $5,878 a month. The reason being that most of his earnings are earmarked for another ex-wife, Lori McMasters, to pay spousal and child support. According to Terrence, he is simply an employee on Lori’s payroll because his acting money goes straight to her. And she, in turn, cuts him his monthly check.
