The gay community wasn’t the only one celebrating President Obama’s personal support of same-sex marriage…

Hours after the prez publicly made his famous statement, pop diva Mariah Carey popped by a West Hollywood gay club to party down…. well, at least for an hour and a half.

During lesbian-night at the famed club Abbey, Mariah dropped by at around 12:30 am, entertaining several female guests at a table, and left close to 2 am. Did she dance? Did she get hit on? Hey, who knows. But the most interesting factoid of the evening was that hubby, Nick Cannon, was not around (most likely, home with the kids).

Glad to see mama still, well, gets a girls night out!

Kim Kardashian’s divorce with Kris Humphries isn’t even final, and the reality TV superstar is already talking marriage with her new boyfriend, Kanye West. At least that’s what a source has told Us Weekly.

Over the weekend, Kardashian flew back from Washington, DC, where she was a guest at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday, to join West’s for a Sunday performance of Broadway’s Wicked. Kim K will also join West on his summer tour with Jay-Z.

“She wants to be with him as much as possible,” the source explained. “They really know and love each other.”

Whether both are serious about matrimony remains to be seen. But let’s get through the final days of the last facade of a marriage before we even THINK about celebrating (or laughing hysterically at) the possibility of these two taking their union to the next level.

Either way, let’s silently shake our heads and wonder… WTF!

Who would have thought that Urkel may have a little Ike Turner in him.

According to Radar, the mother of actor Jaleel White’s daughter says he, while under oath, admitted to being abusive. Over the last few weeks, there’s been a nasty and public dispute between White and his baby’s mama, Bridget Hardy, over claims he physically assaulted her, a charge he vehemently denied.

“He’s sworn under oath that the incident did happen,” said Hardy. She’d filed a domestic violence claim after the former Family Matters star allegedly pushed her into a toilet so hard it broke.

Bridget claims that the deposition with his admittance was quiet “because he made everything confidential on file, so for him to deny that it happened is ridiculous.”

Wow. This may put White in a whole new light… and make folks ask—in the classic Urkel voice: “Did he do that?” Either way, the saying has always been you have to watch out for the quiet ones.

Following rumors of a nasty split between Shaquille O’Neal and long-time girlfriend Hoopz—one involving bodyguards escorting her out of the home that she lives in with the retired NBA star—Shaq hit the airwaves to deny the split.

The former Lakers center appeared on Sway Calloway’s Shady 45 morning show to discuss the present state of his relationship.

“We fine. We good. Period,” Shaq declared. “When I want y’all to know something, I got the number up here. I’ll call. If I try to respond to what everybody say, I would have to rent this building out and rent out every floor.”

The basketball giant blamed gossip blogs and websites for spreading false-hoods as a means to make a profit.

“They make a business out of getting clicks and getting advertising money… more power to ‘em,” he told Sway. “You can’t, like, take pictures and then say this is a story.”

But, Shaq, you have to admit: while the story doesn’t match the importance of current affairs (namely justice for Trayvon), it’s a juice bit of gossip readers love to hear.

Olivier Martinez says, indeed, that he and Halle Berry are engaged.

When asked by The Miami Herald about the engagement rumors, the French actor simply replied: “Yes, of course it’s true.”

Martinez was in town to promote his new restaurant, Villa Azur, which opened this past Saturday on South Beach.

While it’s wonderful that Halle has once again found love, one has to wonder: as quick as her man was to confirm rumors of their future plans, was this just a plan to pump his new eatery. Stay tuned….

The latest in the Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry child custody saga involves a hush contract.

According to Radaronline.com, Berry is trying to get her ex-beau and baby’s father locked into a non-disclosure agreement to keep him from revealing juicy details about their tumultuous relationship.

It was reported that Aubry’s friends have been urging him to pen a tell-all book about his relationship with the Oscar-winning actress. Even though he is hesitant to make such a move—wanting to spare the feelings of his daughter, Nahla—a source close to the situation said he’d been approached by publishers “offering high six figures.”

While he’s wary of such offers, a source said Aubry is also sick of being portrayed as an “an abusive father, a racist and a fool.” So he may go for Berry’s agreement, but the Canadian model is planning to make her pay dearly for it… in dividends.

“Gabe has finally woken up and is going for the money because he knows there is no way he can fight to keep his daughter without it,” the source says. “If he doesn’t get the money he wants from Halle, he is going to go ahead a write a tell-all. Gabe has two separate high six figure offers on the table from New York publishers. Halle is terrified of this happening; it’s her worst nightmare come true — and she’s talking settlement money but locking Gabe into a non-disclosure deal. So one way or another he’s going to get paid.”

You can just imagine Gabriel mouthing the words, “Checkmate, b****!,” to Halle at the negotiating table.

Halle Berry’s baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, isn’t fazed that the Oscar winning actress has ditched her long time attorney, Neil Hersh, for legal heavyweight, Stephen Kolodny, in her ongoing custody battle with him over their daughter Nahla. In fact, he feels it helps his case.

Last we reported, Halle was trying to secure permission from a judge for her and Nahla’s move to France to be with Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez, a move Aubry vehemently rejected. This development came shortly after Halle’s nanny alleged that Gabe physically attacked her while she was holding Nahla, a claim he vehemently denied. According to RadarOnline.com a judge ruled recently that Gabe’s visitation with his daughter must be supervised, and that he isn’t allowed to have her for overnight visits.

Since the family judge hasn’t given a ruling on Halle’s request for the move to France, the actress has decided to change lawyers, hiring Kolodny because “he is known as a bulldozer.” Unfortunately for the Monster’s Ball star, a formal ruling on her move  could take up to a year.

In the mean time, Gabriel is doing everything he can to prove he is the best parent possible, also spending as much time as permitted with his daughter. “Gabe’s attending his court ordered anger management sessions and parenting classes,” says one source. “He isn’t a bad guy, he is trying to be the best dad possible to Nahla.”

In the end Gabe feels his exes decision to switch lawyers could help him because “he thinks it shows how desperate and impatient she is.” As far as Halle’s desire to move to France, he believes it’s just another plot to keep him out of Nahla’s life.

The source says Aubry feels that, in the end,  Nahla is the collateral damage in all of this.

She sure is, Gabe. But do you think Halle’s paying any attention to this?

—while wrong last December—are right on this past week. Reportedly, Berry became engaged to her beau last month.

Currently embroiled in a custody battle with her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, Berry is rushing to legally seal her love with Martinez. She recently asked a judge to allow her to move to France with fiancé and daughter, Nahla, a move Aubry vehemently rejects.

I would have to agree with the baby daddy on this move… not only because the distance would hurt his chances of seeing his child but the timing and hastiness of such a decision.

Is Halle—a woman constantly in rocky relationships—rushing to move in with her boyfriend to take full custody of her daughter?  It’s suspicious timing, but it’s great drama, and we’re staying tuned in.

In former couple news, Pilar Sanders is crying alleged violence against a friend of her soon-to-be-ex-hubby, Deion, while Kris Humphries wants to let cameras into his and Kim Kardashian’s divorce court proceedings.

Sources told TMZ that Kris and his lawyer, Lee Hutton, want the judge handling the divorce to allow TV stations to broadcast the trial. In doing so, Kris and his lawyer wants to turn the case into an indictment of reality TV, exposing the “M.O. of reality TV” by proving that Kim had no intention of staying married to him. Rather, they claim, she really wanted big ratings for her reality show… But the biggest irony and contradiction of this request is that in trying to condemn reality TV by allowing news cameras into the court Kris will inevitably turn his divorce into, say what, reality TV. Anyway…

Cops received a call from Pilar at Deion Sander’s Texas mansion. The reason for the call? Pilar claimed she was assaulted by a female friend of Deion’s while the former NFL star stood by, watched and did nothing.

Pilar told officers a woman named Laura arrived at the house to see Deion. After Pilar told the woman she wasn’t welcomed and that she should leave, reportedly words were exchanged. Pilar claimed the woman threw an object at her, which struck her in the eye.

While no arrests were made, Pilar’s lawyer said she had to be taken to the hospital as a result of her injury.  Although Deion and Pilar don’t have a reality TV show, judging from the back-and-forth following their split they sound like they could give Kim and Kris’s divorce a run for their ratings.

Terrell Owens got extra candid in an interview with GQ, discussing his baby mamas, suicide attempts and the fact that he’s now broke.

Now in major debt and without a team (the Bengals declined to renew his $2 million contract), The former NFL star wants to let fans (and probably any prospective coaches) know he’s only human… and in need of H-E-L-P. As if his VH1 reality show didn’t send that message enough.

As far as the four mothers of his four children, none were girlfriends, but repeated booty calls with one just being a one-night stand. “If there’s anything I’m sorry about,” admitted Owens. “It’s getting involved with all that.” But he does contend that he spends time with all but his youngest child, due to the tumultuous relationship he has with the mother. And for his seeds, he pays a collective $44, 600 in child support.

But Owens’ biggest problem is his money. Claiming he is in financial ruin, Owens says he was a victim of bad investments and lofty real estate purchases (coupled with the housing crisis).

If you’re thinking, with so much personal baggage no wonder the brother tried to commit suicide, Owens refutes the reports that he tried to off himself, once in 2006 and again last October. Both stories involves prescription meds and him taking more than he should. But, to both incidences, he said they were mere misunderstandings.

Which is why Owens did this talk in the first place, so we could get a better understanding of this complicated athlete. Only, all you will think when reading the piece is… get a clue and some forethought.
