Kim Kardashian initially seemed to brush off her March 22 red carpet flour attack (watch above if you missed it) that came from a animal-rights supporter, but now that the dust has settled the reality star has said she’s pressing charges.
According to TMZ, Kardashian is taking legal action against the woman, claiming that she should take responsibility for her actions.
Sources close to Kim tell TMZ she does not feel the woman who threw the flour at her should get away with it and that she should be her accountable for her actions. She is expected to press charges this week. According to our sources, Kim didn’t press charges that night because she didn’t want to take herself away from the event, which was for charity.
Kim Kardashian was at the launch of her newest fragrance when a woman ran up to her in the red carpet and dumped a sack of flour on the, later shouting, âFur hag!â The woman was detained, but Kim brushed it off, and at first claimed she was âtoo busyâ to press charges.
Now, apparently she wants to send the message that people are entitled to their opinion, but should not resort to violence. âWhat if that was some other substance? What if that person had a dangerous weapon?â Itâs scary,â Kim said.
What’s scary is that we live in a world where Kim Kardashian can take swift legal action against someone who threw baking ingredients on her for wearing a luxury coat, and yet there is still no justice for Trayvon Martin. But does she have a point or do you think she’s overreacting?
