This week’s unofficial “Girl Bye” award might just have to be handed out to Amber Rose! Last week the model/reality star/singer called out Kim Kardashian for being a “home wrecker” and ruining her relationship with Kanye West (as if anybody was checking for that rumor confirmation years after the fact), but she’s already changing her tune and saying that all is forgiven.
Amber told TMZ, “I forgive her … and I forgive Kanye too … it’s not a big deal, you know?” Um, duh considering that Amber’s supposedly happily in love with her man Wiz Khalifah, Kanye’s busy Watching the Throne, and Kim is still dealing with the aftermath of her quickie marriage and divorce!
Amber resurrected the alleged old news from 2010, in a recent interview with Star magazine and said Kim is “one of the main reasons why me and Kanye are not together.” She added “They were both cheating. They were both cheating on me and Reggie [Bush] with each other.” She claimed Kim initiated the infidelity by texting and sending racy pictures of herself to Kanye. Kim has vehemently denied the claims, which is probably why she never got in touch to apologize, as Amber has pointed out. Kanye hasn’t touched the subject at all. In the initial interview Amber noted, “I want to thank her. Because if she was never a home-wrecker, then I never would have met Wiz, and I wouldn’t be as happy as I am now.”
So if it’s all that why would Amber choose now to bring up old stuff that may or may not be true in the first place?
She explained, “I had to get off my chest so people knew the truth. I wasn’t trying to hurt anyone’s feelings. The truth will set you free. At the end of the day, I want to apologize to Kim for calling her a home-wrecker.”She went on to say, “I’m all about women and empowerment and even though she made a mistake in life, I shouldn’t stoop down to her level and call her names. I’m human and I reacted on my emotions. I never want to call a women a home-wrecker or a bi-ch or a whore.”
So the new single, “The Fame” she dropped this week with Wiz, had nothing to do with her wanting to draw attention to herself in the spotlight now, of all times? Oh, OK.
