Angelina Jolie and Bratt Pitt are getting into the wine business. They have teamed with the Perrins of Beaucastel to produce wine at their Provence estate.

In the partnership, the making and distribution of the Hollywood couple’s Chateau Miraval will be handled by the Perrin family, a famous wine-making clan. Jolie and Pitt initiated rented their winery estate to live on, but later decided to purchase the property and take over the wine business. The Miraval rosés are reportedly scheduled to hit the market in March 2013. The white wines should at the end of the summer.

‘They (the Jolie-Pitts) want to ensure they are making the best Provence wines they can,” said a member of the Perrin family. “They were present at the blending sessions this year, and are looking at everything from the installations in the… to reworking the labels across the range of wines.”

Quite an impressive way to diversify their brand. What better way to sip your way into romance and possibly expand your family than by drinking a rosé from a family who’s all about a growing brood?

Wyclef to Brangelina: Adopt Haitian Kids

Wyclef Jean is urging Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to adopt a child from Haiti.

Given Angelina’s habit of buying a plane ticket and bringing a baby back, the Haitian native and advocate is hoping the couple could provide care to some of the impoverished children from his earthquake-stricken nation.

‘Clef was quoted saying:

“Brad and Angie, please! Please adopt a child from Haiti!

I have so many celebrity friends who have really supported this cause and who continue to support this cause. Our job is to help those little kids, to give them a chance. If we give them a chance they’ll have a better tomorrow.”

While this would no doubt be another great gesture by the actress, previous interviews indicate that Jolie doesn’t plan on adding more children to their family.

She previously said:

“I’m always open to children around the world. We’re that kind of family. Brad and I talk about that. But that’s not what we’re focusing on at this time, by any means.”

Well, ‘Clef, there’s always Trina.

A day after Haiti’s devastating earthquake, President Obama has said that the United States government would offer “swift, coordinated, and aggressive” aid to the estimated three million people caught in the disaster; but celebrities have also started to mobilize to raise support for the country now.

The 7.0 quake, which hit just 10 miles from the densely-populated capital of Port-au-Prince, has left hospitals leveled, people displaced and a rising death toll that, according to the Associate Press. Casualties are believed to be anywhere from 100,000 to as high as 500,000.

“I cannot stress enough what a human disaster this is, and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse,” said Wyclef Jean in a statement.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have worked with Wyclef in the past, have also pledged to help in the efforts. “We will work closely with our good friend Wyclef Jean to support the humanitarian efforts on the island and help those who have been injured and left without homes and shelter,” a statement from the couple said.

A long list of celebrities including John Legend, Nicole Richie, Diddy, and Russell Simmons are spreading the word via their Twitter pages on how to donate to organizations such as The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) — and urging fans to get involved.
