Pfizer, the makers of Viagra, has a message for NFL players: the blue penis pill will not enhance or improve your game. This after a Brandon Marshall interview revealed the wide receiver said he heard differently.
“I’ve heard of some crazy stories,” said Brandon during the interview, talking about how far players will go to get an edge. “I’ve heard (of) guys using like Viagra, seriously. Because the blood is supposedly thin, some crazy stuff. So, you know, it’s kind of scary with some of these chemicals that are in some of these things so you have to be careful.”
After reading this, a rep for Pfizer told TMZ the pills are “indicated solely for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED).”
“Pfizer has not examined the safety of Viagra in men without ED,” said the rep, “and does not promote or encourage the use of Viagra for any use but the treatment of ED.”
Great way to cover yourself, Pfizer. But with pressure to produce wins being at a high premium in professional sports, players will continue to do what they think helps them reach that peak!
