Ray J better be calling 1-800-FLOWERS on Sophie Munk to thank her for calling 911 on him.

TMZ reports that the R&B star, who was rushed to the hospital on Monday following the Billboard Music Awards due to dehydration and exhaustion, owes his life to business partner Munk. The duo represent Prince Reigns In-Grown Hair Serum and were at jointly hosted a post-BMA’s party. But when Munk and Ray returned to their (separate) hotel rooms early Monday morning, Munk couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong with Ray.

She allegedly went back to his room to check on him, and found him collapsed and unresponsive on the floor. The blonde model then called hotel management to dial emergency, and an ambulance arrived shortly after.

Thankfully, Brandy’s bro was released from the hospital on Tuesday following extensive testing to make sure he didn’t have  a deadly blood clot in his lungs. Aaaand, back to work pimping skin products.

As TMZ points out, in-grown hairs probably saved Ray J’s life. Can Nair do that?

Despite what you may have heard elsewhere, Brandy is not knocked up with her second kid.

That was the rumor over on Media Take Out, but early Monday morning Ms. Norwood used her Twitter account to denounce the silly rumor:

As for them writing that their “insider” told them that “Brandy was still giving booty calls to her ex, rapper Flo Rida as late as a couple of months ago,” she was probably caught calling a hotel in Miami to confirm her hotel arrangements.

There’s a rumored new couple out in cyberspace and it’s Brandy and actor Lance Gross.

The two were spotted together at a recent party – sparking talk that the two are an item.

Sandra Rose reports:

Dancing With the Stars contestant Brandy sparkles in her baby doll sequined dress last night at the DWTS 200th episode party at Boulevard 3. Rumor mongers swear she’s dating fading actor Lance Gross now.

I bet Gross is ecstatic. It sure took him long enough to hook up with a big name celebrity to restart his 15 minute clock.

Brandy’s last known relationship was with rapper Flo Rida who dumped her for TV model Eva Marcille.

Ironically, Gross last used TV model Eva Marcille for her shine before she wised up and left him.

Still, I hope this relationship works out for both Lance and Brandy, who doesn’t seem to have very good luck with men.

Well, he would certainly be one method for ending a drought.

I’m not too sure about this one, though. I hear last Monday Lance was spotted in New York with his actual girlfriend at the after party for Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls.

I guess we’ll see in due time.

According to Brandy, she’s got this icebox where her sex life used to be.

The singer-actress and current showstopper on Dancing with the Stars, recently revealed that she hasn’t had sex in six years.

She tells Life & Style magazine, “I haven’t been with a man seriously and in love in six years. And, honestly, I tend to abstain if I’m not in a relationship.”

Well, maybe not a full six but it’s been a minute. She added, “It’s been a long time. We’re talking years.”

So while she might not be getting it in, she’s at least trying to go out again. On returning to the dating scene, Brandy claimed, “I actually went on a blind date a couple months ago that was very interesting but nothing serious.”

One of those, of course, included rapper Flo’Rida whom we saw discussed on her reality show, Norwood Family Business.

On the Florida-bred rapper, Brandy says, “I was very interested in him. I mean, how can you not be — he’s very attractive. But there was just something about us that didn’t click.”

We’ve been wondering if Flo Rida and  Eva Marcille were dating for a few months now, after word had it he left Brandy to get with the model. Last night the rumored new couple turned up at the VMAs looking rather friendly. 

Of course Eva recently broke up with Lance Gross, but is Flo Rida really her rebound man? It would appear so if you see this hugged up picture of the two of them on the red carpet (above), but Eva waved the rumors off on her Twitter account. “It was simply a picture nothing more,” she Tweeted.  Mmm hmm, we’ve heard that line before.

Christina Milian looked just fine in California while out and about with her baby girl Violet over the weekend.  Right around the same time her husband, The-Dream,  was getting his freak with his assistant in the Caribbean. But now that the news is out that the couple has split, people are adding their two cents and giving her words of advice.

In Touch magazine reported that the southern rapper ended it with Brandy.  The pop star is telling people that she split up with Flo Rida to focus on her own busy life but rumor has it she’s heartbroken after her man left her for model Eva Marcille.

Wow, Flo Rida is Eva’s rebound after Lance Gross!? I guess, but I digress….

The split allegedly left the singer rattled: “Brandy just cried,” a friend told the magazine. “She really liked him. She had no idea he would just move on.” Flo Rida and Eva were spotted dining at Beverly Hills restaurant, Crustacean, (which the magazine noted is Brandy’s favorite restaurant) and were also seen together at the BET Awards.

Of course Brandy’s people are denying there was ever a relationship in the first place:  “They were only good friends and not dating,” the friend adds,” a rep said.

In her interview with Parade magazine, Brandy reflected on her methodology when it comes to motherhood.

Some parents say they don’t want to be their child’s friend but for Brandy, that’s what’s most important.

She said:

“A lot of mothers feel like they’re the mom first, with that authority. But for me, I’m a friend first. I believe that just being there for my daughter as a friend more than ‘I’m in charge…’ causes her to be more open with me as a person. That’s just what our relationship is. Of course, there are times when I have to discipline her — I’m mom. But there’s still that nurturing and love there that we have. I know I’ll probably get flack for being a friend first, but it really works. She’s really honest with me. I’m just teaching her how to trust herself. I tell her all the time that my life is not your life — you have your own life.

At the end of the day we’re going to be friends. When she grows up, it’ll be about that friendship that we’ll have. She’ll come to me for any problems that she has. If I have an authoritative wall up, she’s going to rebel and not come to me and I don’t want that.”

And as both her mother and friend she made the decision to keep her daughter, Sy’Rai, off her reality show.

She explains:

“That’s strictly because her father and I felt it was best for her to have as much of a normal life as possible. Of course, you’ve seen her on one episode on ‘For the Love of Ray J,’ but it wasn’t every day. You didn’t see her going to school, me combing her hair, or any aspect of our private, intimate moments, which sort of sucks because our relationship is so beautiful. I love being a mom and I’m raising her in a different way than how I was raised. Some things that my mom did with me, I do with my daughter — it’s just a different dynamic. I would love for people to see how I’m doing it because I think I could be a good example of a young, single mom.”

On any given day chances are you’ll find a blogger cracking jokes at the expense of the celebrity.

Is that not what comes with placing yourself in the public eye or do some people take things too far?

For her most recent blog entry on VIBE.com, Brandy – who was subjected to a bit of scrutiny on Sunday night following the premiere of her new show – suggests the later and shares from her own experiences just how hurtful the written word can be.

She writes:

People think that you being strong doesn’t mean things don’t hurt your feelings. That’s not what being strong means. I’m a very strong person, but some of those things that people say about me on blogs make me cry. I don’t like it. And what’s so frustrating is that I don’t get a chance to retaliate. Because y’all are not posting y’all pictures on the blogs. I can’t respond and I can’t be negative back because that’s just not me.

But sometimes some of the things that people say about me and my best friends and people that I care about, like my brother and Kelly Rowland, I want to go in on those people, but I can’t. But that stuff hurts. It really hurts.

Sometimes we don’t read the comments because of what we’ve seen people say in the past about us. Okay, you don’t like my shoes, you don’t like my outfit, cool, but the rest of it, like bringing up the car accident?

People just go too far. Way too far. But people are going to be who they are. As long as I’m not like that, and even if I wasn’t me and I was tweeting about another celebrity, I would never say anything bad about somebody like that. I’m glad that I’m that type of a person.

If I was running the site, I wouldn’t post a bad picture of another person. I just wouldn’t do that. All to make money. For what reason? There are other ways that you can make money. Why do you have to do that at the expense of somebody else?

Brandy and Ray J hit up The George Lopez Show the other night to talk about their upcoming reality series.

Before the two started to chat about the show, George Lopez asked Ray J about his most famous ex-girlfriend. When asked if there’s any chance of reconciliation between he and Kim Kardashian now that she’s no longer with Reggie Bush (until the next season of her show anyway), Ray J didn’t even get the chance to answer as his big sister answered for him.

Brandy said (with a smile), “Absolutely not!”

Soon after, Ray J confirmed Brandy’s declaration.

As for who Brandy is or isn’t dating, George inquired about her relationship with Flo’Rida. Although it’s been reported that the two are dating and they’ve since been photographed together several times Brandy would only refer to him as a “good friend” before talking about how she likes to keep her private life just that.
