Mom-to-be for the second time Halle Berry should have better things on her mind these days than wrangling with an auction house. But due to a property mix-up she had to throw down…slightly.
Halle had to nix a Canadian auction advertised as the sale of 400 items belonging to the Oscar winner because none of the stuff is hers.
This past weekend Berry’s attorney sent a cease and desist letter to The Montreal Auction House to inform them that none of the items in their possession were ever owned or used by Halle. The rare and prized collectibles include a nail clipper, hairbrush and an antique couch.
When it was uncovered that the storage stuff actually belongs to Halle’s former boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, auctioneers had to scramble to postpone the auction, originally set for this past Monday. The new rescheduled date is July 21.
So, anyone interested in cool, bacheloresque zebra skin rug owned by Gabriel? (That’s also one of the auction items available.) It can be yours for the right price.
