Former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen has become a suspect in a Malibu, California brawl. The NBA icon was reportedly involved in a scuffle outside the Japanese restaurant, NOBU, where one of the parties involved was sent to the hospital.
According TMZ, the incident started when the alleged victim approached Pippen for an autograph. After Pippen said no, a heated exchange ensued which set the stage for the battle between the basketball champion and the autograph-seeker. While Pippen suffered no injuries, a relative of the victim said the victim was released from the hospital this morning with broken teeth, a swollen mouth, as well as back and head injuries.
As per one source, Pippen, “beat the f*** out him,” allegedly knocking him unconscious with a punch to the face. According to a report, Pippen, afterward, repeatedly kicked the 50-something-year-old victim when he was down. As a result, The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said Pippen was named as a suspect in a report for assault with a deadly weapon (his shoe).
Although Pippen did leave the scene, he soon contacted police, who decided against arresting him after the call. Their will simply be an investigation…. and a warning: don’t ask Scottie for his Hancock — if you get out of pocket you might get cold cocked.
