Dennis Rodman’s trips to North Korea have been a source of controversy and criticism for the former pro baller. Many have called into question the ex-Chicago Bulls star’s relationship with Kim Jong Un and Rodman is speaking out about his connection to the authoritarian regime.
“I don’t want people to look at me as the devil or an evil person,” Rodman told ESPN. “If I put anyone in harm’s way, I apologize, you know. What makes me so damn bad? What makes me this bad awful person?”
Nothing now that the former Celebrity Apprentice star is staying on the wagon. Rodman blamed his drinking problem for his combative interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo and his overall erratic behavior in North Korea.
Next up…Hollywood, of course. Director Tim Story is now attached to a comedy pitch film for 20th Century Fox about Rodman’s diplomatic North Korean exploits. Gotta love Dennis, even when he screws up he cashes in!
