On Friday night, Twitter users were treated to celebrity beef in real time when Ciara and Rihanna engaged in a back-and-forth on the social-media service.

It all started because of what Ciara said about Rihanna on E!’s Fashion Police:

For those who missed it, the problem is how the dialogue went.

Joan Rivers: “What do you think of Rihanna’s dress, Ciara?”

Ciara: “You know, the last time I saw her she wasn’t very nice to me and I really respect her.”

Joan Rivers: “B—h!”

We still don’t know what Ciara thinks of Rihanna’s dress.

Anyway, here’s how the tiff unfolded:

While most sites are reporting how the two “made up,” I felt like Rihanna was being more sarcastic than anything else. I’ll go with the happy ending, though.

Sidenote: Anyone else remember how Ciara got mad at Lloyd for saying the same thing about her in the public—basically saying he could’ve hit her up directly about it?

Umm who knew Ciara and 50 Cent were besties?

That’s what she said when she hit The Wendy Williams Show yesterday. Of course Wendy was trying to get the tea on whether or not CiCi and Curtis are dating (we still half believe he’s getting it in with Chelsea Handler) or if they had ever dated and here’s what your girl had to say:

“Well, that’s like my best friend – he’s been my best friend for years, so it’s definitely positive energy there. And that’s pretty much the situation.”

Hmmmm….and you say he’s just a friend? We’re not sure if that friendship comes with benifits but Ciara claims they never dated and she’s solo at the moment.

“I am single. I haven’t really had the chance to date over the years, from my relationship with [Bow Wow], so I really just want to take my time – because that’s what it is about.”

This year, two basketball players made their interest in Ciara clear. Now we can add a football player to her list of athletic pursuers.

Arizona Cardinals linebacker O’Brien Shofield took to Twitter to make his crush on Ciara known – especially to her.

O’Brien tweeted:

Relatively harmless, but then he came back a day or so later with:

So, some people branded him pressed while meaner people flat out called him a stalker.

Well, O’Brien addressed that via Twitter, too, writing:

In no way, shape, or form am I a stalker. I’m just admiring ciara. I apologize if anyone took it out of hand those were not my intentions.

Although at this point in in her life she’s more into riding that beat, like a mu’bluffin’ freak, Ciara would one day like to go back to school.

Because as you all know, knowledge is power.

Or as the 24-year-old entertainer put it:

“I did get some years where I was still able to go to school and see my friends, so I don’t feel like I missed out on my youth. I didn’t go to college or anything.

I would like to go back to school one day and learn more because knowledge is power, so the more the better.

I’m happy that I stopped my education when I did, in terms of seeing my career take off in the way that it did, but I wouldn’t rule out going back to school one day. If something caught my interest and inspired me to go back, then I may think about going back into education, but for now I’m focused on my career.”

CiCi would also like to eventually start a family.

She told BANG Showbiz:

“After music I would love to raise a family, have kids, because that’s one of the most important things you can do, it would really be a blessing.

You have to make sacrifices. I don’t know if I would quit music completely when I had children, but it would be a big responsibility so I would have to see how things go and consider making a decision then.”

Lloyd took to Twitter to apologize for previous comments he made about Ciara.

Previously, Lloyd referred to her as a word Queen Latifah used to punch men for using and said she had gone Hollywood.

Ciara dismissed the talk but Lloyd has come out randomly to formally apologize for his initial random outburst.

Ciara fans came at The Dream so hard, after he made some choice comments about her career, that he deleted his whole Twitter account! But as far as Ci-Ci is concerned “it’s all love.”

The “diss” in question? Parlour magazine asked The Dream if Ciara’s forthcoming album “Basic Instinct” is her last shot at stardom and he said: “You only get so many times to, and I won’t say fail, but not achieve. There’s an expectation of where Ciara should be in her career. To others, she’s achieved but not to us, because we saw where her career was headed.”

Angela Yee asked Ciara about it and while she admitted The Dream’s comments “came out wrong” she insisted that there’s no bad blood between the two. “Let me tell you one thing about Dream, if you don’t know him you’ll misunderstand him,”Ciara said in his defense. “One thing about him is he has a big heart, you know so he never means to come from the wrong place however sometime when he speaks, he might say something and it comes off a certain way. So I talked to him and I really got on him.  I was like ‘yo what are you talking about!? I don’t even understand what you’re trying to say.’ But we talked about it. We’re like family…it did come out wrong but it’s all love. We’re like brother and sister.”

Even if The Dream really did mean every word of his comments (he has since said they were taken out of context) who better than “family” to keep it real with you and push you to do better?

Last fall, Lloyd made the blogger headlines after he called Ciara out for going “Hollywood.”

Although he later retracted those comments a bit, we’ve never heard Ciara really respond to them directly.

That is, until the singer joined Angela Yee of Shade 45 radio’s show, Lip Service, where she addressed that and the overall perception that the Georgia peach has gone straight Hollywood.

On Lloyd:

“When Lloyd made his public statement about what I was I found it interesting because I hadn’t talk to him so it kind of came out of nowhere for me. [My thing is] if we’ve had the moment to interact with each other and I’ve given that energy that’s one thing, but if we haven’t been around each other and you’re just saying that from nowhere at that time period I didn’t understand that.”

On going Hollywood:

“In reference to the Hollywood thing, I find it very interesting how because you live in LA you’re Hollywood. That’s what it seems to be from my perspective and I’m going to be complete honest with you – I’m there to work. At the same time I am in the world of entertainment and that’s one of the places [LA] that’s very helpful for your business. For me it was a business decision to stay there for the time period that I’m there, but I still own my place in Atlanta and I still own who I am as a person. I’m a southern girl in LA. I’m learning so much because it’s a completely different world.”

On her new friendships:

“What’s also funny to me is that people judge you by who you take a photo with or who they see you with. Now just because I hang with someone who appears very different from me doesn’t mean I’m changing who I am.”

It looks like both Ciara and former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams have men in their lives.

Ciara – who has been the crush of various NBA players in recent months – was spotted out shopping with an unidentified man in LA this week.

Sandra Rose says:

“We know he’s her new boyfriend because her people said so when they called the paparazzi to tell them where she would be. Maybe now CiCi’s Stans will believe me when I say Ci and 50 Cent are ancient history.”

She sure does have a way with words, doesn’t she?

Meanwhile Michelle was spotted with the Chicago Bulls’ Taj Gibson and daughter recently at a WNBA game.

Michelle Williams is part owner of the Chicago Sky.

A few weeks ago Michelle Williams mentioned to blogger B. Scott on his Sirius radio show that she has been dating someone for a while and that she’s very happy.

I’ll go out on a limb and conclude that Taj might be the hometown guy she was referencing.

Ciara seems to be the talk of many NBA locker rooms across the country.

First Denver Nugget Arron Afflalo reportedly had a crush on her and now Milwaukee Bucks star Brandon Jennings apparently has a crush on CiCi, too.

The young pro baller spoke with GQ about his crush and revealed that he’s head-over-heels for Ciara.

In fact, in his profile Jennings revealed that he already had the perfect first date in mind for Ciara.

So a movie might be in order — say, “Ninja Assassin?” He’s already seen it, but if you haven’t, he’d watch it again. Or maybe some video games back at his condo?

Well, that sounds nice albeit presumptuous. Still, while Ciara can boast about the money in her bank account, doesn’t hurt to date another multi-millionaire.

And no, I don’t mean the tracks you get from Tricky Stewart and The-Dream. I mean the ones Kim is selling at her beauty supply.

Ciara explained her obsession in a recent interview with Essence.com.

ESSENCE.COM: What’s the one thing you can’t live without?

CIARA: This may be very blunt, but I can’t live without hair extensions.

ESSENCE.COM: I love it!

CIARA: It’s the truth! I don’t want to wear my [real] hair all the time because I want to protect it. What would the world be like without some extra hair? It would be crazy! I need my extensions; I love the drama. I love to be able to have fun with my hair and protect it at the same time.

ESSENCE.COM: Great answer. So, if there was one thing you could invent, hair-wise, what would it be?

CIARA: [bursts out laughing] I’d invent hairpieces that would give you the exact style you want, any time. And it would never mess up, not even when you’re sleeping!

ESSENCE.COM: Oh, so you would just wake up like, “Bam!”

CIARA: Bam, done! You could sleep in it and it wouldn’t mess up. That’s what I’d do.
