Nicole Murphy is still in the honeymoon phase of her relationship with Hollywood Exes. The reality star, and former Mrs. Eddie Murphy, tells RadarOnline.com that she’s had nothing but fun being part of the series, which documents the lives of famous exes.

“I would absolutely do the show again if we get picked up,” she says. “If not, I would like to do my own show. I have no regrets at all, I really enjoyed it, it was a lot of fun for me.”

Murphy insists that being followed by cameras hasn’t changed her one bit. “You get so comfortable after a while that you forget the cameras are there. I got to hang out with my girlfriends so I was pleased by how it turned out.”

The no-drama star also claims she has a good relationship with her famous ex, who is currently rumored to be dating Rocsi Diaz. “Eddie and I are friends; he’s my babies’ daddy so we speak to each other and have a great relationship and I think that’s important when you have children involved,” Nicole says. “We can be in the same room and hang out, it’s all good!”

Amazingly, Murphy says starring on a reality show has been good for her spiritual health as well. “The show is definitely therapy, I am sure that other women who are watching the show have a situation they can relate to. I’ve have women tell me on Twitter that I’ve inspired them not to jump up and get angry.”

Um, has Nicole been drinking the VH1 kool-aid or is her life truly better as a result of being on a reality show?

Hollywood Exes sounds like the worst thing that’s happened to divorced celebrities since community property.

The VH1 series, which already stars the ex-wives of Will Smith, Prince, Jose Canseco, Eddie Murphy and R. Kelly, just added Daphne Wayans to it’s cast. Daphne is the ex-wife of In Living Color creator Keenan Ivory Wayans, who famously dumped her in 2004 by removing all of her belongings from their house and cutting off the electricity.

Well, surprise surprise, Keenan. Daphne’s ready to get hers and spill all the ugly details on national television. TMZ reports the former Mrs. KIW has already been seen out and about with her new co-stars and the ladies are getting along famously. The timing of this is interesting, considering Keenan’s reboot of In Living Color is also set to premiere this fall. Surely Daphne has some juicy stories to tell about the Fly Girls?

There are also rumors that Babyface’s ex Tracey Edmonds and Sandra “Pepa” Denton will also be joining Hollywood Exes, though it’s hard to understand why. Those ladies have their own fortunes, not just alimony, to live off of, so why expose your personal life on TV?

Gearing up for the debut of the new reality series Hollywood Exes, cast member Nicole Murphy let’s folks know how her ex-hubby Eddie Murphy feels about the show.

Talking to The YBF, Nicole said Eddie is totally supportive of her TV move. A contributing factor to the comedic actor’s blessing might be the fact that his brother, Vernon Lynch Jr., is one of the show’s executive producers.

Will that get in the way of Nicole giving viewers some juicy tales or insights into Eddie? If this VH1 show is after ratings on par with hits like Basketball Wives and Love & Hip Hop, some blood — figuratively speaking — will have to be drawn.

They say no one knows what goes on behind bedroom doors…until now. VH1 has enlisted the ex-wives of Eddie Murphy, Jose Canseco, Will Smith, Prince and R. Kelly (!) to star in a new reality show, Hollywood Exes.

The hour-long series will premiere this summer, meaning the PR machines of the aforementioned stars are probably in overdrive running damage control.

“These extraordinarily strong women adjusted to and endured a lot while their ex-spouses won fame and fortune defining pop culture,” said Jeff Olde, Executive VP of original programming and production at VH1.

“Now these women must reinvent themselves again, stepping out of the long shadows cast by their famous husbands and supporting each other as they define the next stage of their lives – this time on their own terms,” he added.

In other words, they’ll be milking the last few drops of fame they can get from their famous exes. Not that we’re complaining–we haven’t been this excited for a new show since TLC announced Preacher Wives.

Just another reason to stay on the couch this summer.

Is Eddie Murphy un-breaking Toni Braxton’s heart?

Rumor has it the comedian has been dating the sultry singer for four months and sources even told Us Weekly they’re “very serious” and “their kids have met and everything.”  Although Toni’s rep say they’re “just friends,” adding that they’ve “been fans of each other’s work a long time” (having a flashback to ’92 when Toni added her voice to Boomerang soundtrack song “Love Should’ve Brought You Home La st Night” and everyone knows Eddie starred in the film).

Toni’s lackluster love life was a major plot line for her on her family’s reality WE TV reality show Braxton Family Values. If she and Eddie  are actually dating, or you know if that “friendship” happens to develop into something more the Murphy/Braxton combination could prove to be quite an interesting Brady Bunch scenario worthy of a spin-off!  Eddie has six kids including five from his marriage to Nicole Mitchell who he divorced in 2005 and one from a romp with former Spice girl Mel B.  Toni had two kids with estranged husband  Keri Lewis of the R&B group Mint Condition.

Of course before the couple can really get serious Toni would probably want to file some official “walking papers” with Lewis. The two aren’t actually divorced and reportedly have no plans to legally cut the knot anytime soon.   Hmm….

The Basketball Wives are no shortage of drama but it got so ridiculous recently that the police had to break it up.  Show insiders just spilled to TMZ that last Saturday, when the girls were at the Gulf Stream Race Track in Hallandale, FL, Nia Crooks called out Jennifer Williams and told her everyone thinks she’s gotten “too big for her britches.” That didn’t bode well with Jennifer and sources say things got physical Nia, who was once friends with Jennifer,  allegedly pushed her in the face.

Police security from the production company came to intervene. Jennifer filed a report and said she was “intentionally struck by Crooks with an open hand to the left side of her face.” Sources say the guards had to grab Evelyn to keep her from jumping Jennifer!

According to Jennifer, the whole thing was caught on tape.

In other VH1 news: Will Smith and Eddie Murphy’s ex-wives are reportedly slated to join forces for a new show titled Ex List.  Nicole Murphy is currently engaged to NFL commentator Michael Strahan and has been in the news for financial troubles after she claims she was swindled out of seven million dollars from a former manager.  Will Smith and his first wife, Sheree,  share a 19 year-old, Trey Smith. Since they divorced in 1995, Sheree married Terrell Fletcher, a former running back for the San Diego Chargers who currently serves as pastor and founder of the City of Hope International Church in San Diego, and changed her name again to Sheree Fletcher.

The Academy Awards may have gotten Billy, but apparently viewers want Eddie.

With the departure of Brett Ratner and, planned host, Eddie Murphy from the Oscars the Academy thought it made a save when producer Brian Grazer and long-time host Billy Crystal stepped up as replacements. Crystal, who’s hosted the Oscars eight times (second only to Bob Hope), is considered a huge draw for the show.

But a recent poll done by The Hollywood Reporter has proven that wrong, showing that viewers overwhelmingly prefer to see Murphy as host. While 56 percent of those polled support Crystal as host, 58 percent support Murphy. The only group polled that goes with Crystal over Murphy are viewers over 45 and women over 30… a demographic that goes with the idea that Crystal restores “class and respectability” (THR’s words, not mine) but does nothing to boost the already lagging viewership of this stodgy—mostly white—institution.

They may want to think about giving Whoopi Goldberg a call about hosting.

Considering Eddie Murphy spent a rather lengthy time (given the child’s age) denying paternity, should we be surprised that Angel Murphy doesn’t refer to him as her pappy?

I didn’t think so, which means it’s not shocking to find that little Angel Murphy calls her stepfather, Stephen Belafonte, “daddy” and not her biological dad.

Mel B. explained how this happened in a recent interview:

“I moved to the beach when I was pregnant with Angel and my mum came to live with me. Obviously the situation was a bit tricky but I just got on with it. I’m not one to wallow. I might for a few hours but then I’ll snap out of it. I have a great life. Eddie and I have been in contact on and off for the last three years.

He’s been playing a part of her life for quite some time now, but Angel sees Stephen as her dad. Obviously he’s not her biological dad but she calls him daddy.”

I hate when kids have to deal with Maury moments. It messes up the natural order. While it’s good Stephen stepped in while Mel and Eddie settled their paternity beef, I would be a little Lawry’s about that if I were Eddie.

Good that he’s building his relationship with Angel now, though.

Shock erupted after word leaked that ex-Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, and the father of her daughter, Eddie Murphy was at the comedian’s home and neither one of them ended up spending the night in jail.

It seems the two are now getting along after previous battles concerning their daughter, Angel Murphy.

So much in fact that all of that bad blood and the blog entries that it spurred has been dismissed as “water under the bridge.”

When answering why she showed up at the premiere of Murphy’s latest film, Shrek 4, in May, Melanie explained to E! Daily 10:

“We went to Shrek – we got invited by Angel’s father and we all went and were supportive and it was great family fun. It’s really cool. Everything’s like water under the bridge.”

That’s nice. It’s good to see the two were able to patch things up without Scary Spice’s muscles being used to lift Murphy into the air in anger.

It seems like Eddie Murphy and Mel B. have put aside their differences and are making sure Eddie gets to know the daughter he had with the former Spice Girl.

In 2006 the two began a feud once Mel B. revealed that she was pregnant with his child. Eddie initially denied he was the father only his Maury moment gave him a much needed wake up call.

However, Mel B. has expressed previously that Eddie has had nothing to do with their child, Angel Murphy.

But, reports have surfaced that Mel B. along with her husband, Stephen Belafonte, and Angel all attended a recent fight party Eddie threw at his house.

If you’re wondering, no, neither delivered the knockout punch missing from that Floyd Mayweather fight.

A source told the New York Daily News:

“They’ve both said some really nasty things about each other to the press. So needless to say, some guests were shocked.”

Apparently, Eddie’s ex-wife, Nicole Murphy, had something to do with the reconcilation.

The source added:

“Angel is Eddie’s youngest child, and Nicole wanted her children to know her. That helped Eddie to come around and get past all the animosity he had toward Mel. All of the children were there for the party, and it appeared that they’re one big happy, blended family.”
