If you look up the word generous in the dictionary, you just might find a picture of actor Omar Epps smiling back at you. While shooting the series, Resurrection in Atlanta, the Love and Basketball star was in a very giving mood toward his cast members, crew and the show’s extras.
Epps rented out the Sweet Auburn BBQ food truck for $1500, which paid for the lunch for all 90 people working on the drama, which is about people who die and return from the dead. BBQ enthusiasts say one of the most delicious meals Sweet Auburn does best is its Dirty South package, which includes a scrumptious mix of brisket, pork and chicken.
It sounds like that’s one cast and crew who just went to food heaven!
