Movie 43 has been getting a lot of buzz for being the “Biggest Cast Ever Assembled For the Most Outrageous Comedy Ever Made,” according to the film’s tag line, but director Peter Farrelly revealed a scene from movie that just propelled it from intriguing to must-see.

In an interview on Redditt, the gross-out comedy king revealed Halle Berry, who stars in a segment of Movie 43, surprised him more than any another actor he’s ever worked with. Keep in mind, this is the guy who got Cameron Diaz’s hair to stand up straight in There’s Something About Mary.

“I was a little nervous about meeting her because her scene is so outrageous, and I was afraid she might get on the set and balk,” Farrelly explained of the Oscar winner, 46. “Not only did she not, but she thought the scene was too soft and asked us to amp it up a little.”

And Farrelly delivered, at one point getting Berry to dip her bare breast in a bowl of guacamole for the segment called “Truth or Dare.”

“She couldn’t have been more fun to work with,” Farrelly gushes. We couldn’t be more excited Berry is exploring her funny side more, after she let loose during the press tour for Cloud Atlas. Berry continues her comedy streak with the lead role in Shoe Addicts Anonymous, about a woman who joins a support group for the Louboutin-obsessed (side note: where do we sign up?).

As for the guacamole, after seeing Movie 43 we’ll probably never look at chips and dip the same way again.

Halle Berry isn’t always in the press for the best reasons, so when the actress let’s her, uh, hair down and gets playful with the media, it’s a nice reminder that she does in fact have a sense of humor.

On a press tour for her upcoming film Cloud Atlas, the gorgeous Berry is dropping LOL-worthy quotes like candy. Just today, Berry revealed a surprising famous relative in her family tree, and also discussed the curious places her new film has taken her as an actor.

“You wanna know who I’m related to?” Berry said excitedly in a video interview on Extra. “Sarah Palin!” The actress wouldn’t (or couldn’t) specify exactly how she and the former VP candidate share blood, but insists it’s true. “In some twisted way…somebody sent me this information that she was my distant [relative].” (Trivia: her Cloud Atlas co-star Tom Hanks is a distant cousin of Abraham Lincoln).

At another point, the actress sat down with EurWeb.com to discuss her crazy, boundary-stretching roles (that’s right, roles) in Cloud Atlas. One of the close to half-dozen characters Berry plays is that of an Asian man. “I have to say I did love being turned into [Korean physicist] Dr. Ovid,” Berry gushes. “Never before in my life would I ever have thought anybody anywhere would hire me to be an Asian man for any reason.” Yeah, us neither.

Well, it’s always nice to see Berry crack a smile between paparazzi beat downs and battling her ex Gabriel Aubry for custody of their 3-year-old Nahla. Hope we continue to see more of this light-hearted Halle as the promo tour of Cloud Atlas continues.

It sounds like the premise for a Nora Ephron-style romantic comedy, but the tense reunion between Halle Berry and her baby daddy Gabriel Aubry at a West Hollywood pumpkin patch was anything but. The unfriendly exes barely made eye contact with each other when Halle picked up their daughter Nahla, who had spent the weekend with her dad.

The professional paparazzi at X17 Online snapped Berry embracing her adorable daughter, but the warm-and-fuzzy surroundings couldn’t ease the visible tension between the actress and Aubry, who are bitterly fighting for custody of the 4-year-old. Perhaps the presence of the shutter hounds proves Berry’s point to the court, whom she is hoping will grant her the right to move Nahla to Paris: Los Angeles is far too pap-infested a place to raise a normal, well-adjusted child.

Perhaps someone should remind Berry and Aubry that their vicious and very public fighting is doing far more damage to their daughter than a zoom lens ever could?

Will Halle Berry face the same deadly fate as Princess Diana if she moves to France?

That’s what Gabriel Aubry’s lawyer said in court. Halle and Gabriel are locked in a court fight over whether Halle should be allowed to move to France with the ex-couple’s daughter Nahla. Halle wants to move because of strict no-paparazzi laws, leaving their child better protected from aggressive photogs.

But Gabriel’s lawyer said that would be dangerous for the actress because France is where Princess Diana died in a crash caused by paparazzi chasing her car.

We can’t say how well that argument is because, under French laws, paparazzi can’t photograph celebrities if they don’t want to be photographed.

But when you’re a father fighting to keep your child close to you, any argument is good and reasonable.

It’s hard to talk about winners in the never-ending, messy, ugly, bitter and time-consuming custody battle between Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry over their 3-year-old daughter Nahla, but Berry scored a victory today when a court psychologist deemed her the better parent.

TMZ reports that an evaluation has been written and submitted to the judge presiding over the custody battle between the actress and her ex, and the results are crystal clear: while there’s no doubt Aubry loves his daughter and she loves him, Nahla is better off in Berry’s custody. The report allegedly raises issues about Gabriel’s ability to care for Nahla, in part because of “personal issues” which are not specified.

This is a huge win for Berry, who is trying to move her family to Paris to get away from the intrusive paparazzi, among other things. The French capital is also home to Berry’s fiance Olivier Martinez. Assuming the judge rules in favor of Halle’s move, Aubry would be allowed visitation rights.

But there’s no denying that this victory came at a huge cost. According to reports, Nahla was subject to extensive interviewing by the court evaluator t0 determine who should have primary custody of the child. That can’t be good for a three year old. We trust Halle is trying to do what’s right for her child, but when will these two stop the madness?

She looked like a ray of sunshine in her teal maxi dress and spiral curls, but some paparazzi learned that if you get too close to Halle Berry, you gon’ get burned. The actress threw down on some paps who were assembled outside of her daughter Nahla’s school yesterday, we’re guessing because they got too close to the lil’ cub.

Berry looked visibly upset, like she was cursing up a storm, and at one point leaned into the shutterbug’s car window and pointing her finger in his face.

“It is inappropriate for these people to stalk a child’s school everyday,” a source close to Berry tells E! News. ”They pushed too far [today],” the source added. “Halle felt that her daughter was being threatened. Having words with someone who is stalking your family is not out of line.”

This isn’t the first time Berry has taken the paps to task. In 2008, she filed a criminal complaint against a photo agency that was circulating pictures the actress claims were taken of her and Nahla in their backyard.

We’re sure Berry is on a short fuse these days what with all the ex-drama in her life. Nahla’s father Gabriel Aubrey dragged her back to court last week, asking for $500,000 in attorney fees and keeping the flame lit under their ongoing custody battle.

Hopefully the Dark Tide actress can focus on something more fun for a while…like planning her wedding to her hot little French fry Olivier Martinez?

As for the paparazzi, next time, wear a helmet.

Gabriel Aubry is trying to squeeze Halle Berry like orange juice. Berry’s ex, who is father to her daughter Nahla, dragged her back to court yesterday and asked a judge to order her to “substantially increase” his monthly paycheck.

Luckily for Halle, the judge had no time to hear Aubry’s sorry pleas for cash, and granted a continuance. This is just the latest scuffle between the bitter exes, who have made a nearly monthly habit of standing before a judge to complain about each other, claim the other is an unfit parent and fight for full custody of the three-and-a-half year old. Sad.

We love how Aubry, who is a male model and actor, is trying to upgrade his seat on the gravy train right around the time Berry is making moves to re-locate to France with her daughter and her hunky fiance Olivier Martinez. Jealous, much?

The latest in the Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry child custody saga involves a hush contract.

According to Radaronline.com, Berry is trying to get her ex-beau and baby’s father locked into a non-disclosure agreement to keep him from revealing juicy details about their tumultuous relationship.

It was reported that Aubry’s friends have been urging him to pen a tell-all book about his relationship with the Oscar-winning actress. Even though he is hesitant to make such a move—wanting to spare the feelings of his daughter, Nahla—a source close to the situation said he’d been approached by publishers “offering high six figures.”

While he’s wary of such offers, a source said Aubry is also sick of being portrayed as an “an abusive father, a racist and a fool.” So he may go for Berry’s agreement, but the Canadian model is planning to make her pay dearly for it… in dividends.

“Gabe has finally woken up and is going for the money because he knows there is no way he can fight to keep his daughter without it,” the source says. “If he doesn’t get the money he wants from Halle, he is going to go ahead a write a tell-all. Gabe has two separate high six figure offers on the table from New York publishers. Halle is terrified of this happening; it’s her worst nightmare come true — and she’s talking settlement money but locking Gabe into a non-disclosure deal. So one way or another he’s going to get paid.”

You can just imagine Gabriel mouthing the words, “Checkmate, b****!,” to Halle at the negotiating table.

Halle Berry’s baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, isn’t fazed that the Oscar winning actress has ditched her long time attorney, Neil Hersh, for legal heavyweight, Stephen Kolodny, in her ongoing custody battle with him over their daughter Nahla. In fact, he feels it helps his case.

Last we reported, Halle was trying to secure permission from a judge for her and Nahla’s move to France to be with Berry’s fiancé Olivier Martinez, a move Aubry vehemently rejected. This development came shortly after Halle’s nanny alleged that Gabe physically attacked her while she was holding Nahla, a claim he vehemently denied. According to RadarOnline.com a judge ruled recently that Gabe’s visitation with his daughter must be supervised, and that he isn’t allowed to have her for overnight visits.

Since the family judge hasn’t given a ruling on Halle’s request for the move to France, the actress has decided to change lawyers, hiring Kolodny because “he is known as a bulldozer.” Unfortunately for the Monster’s Ball star, a formal ruling on her move  could take up to a year.

In the mean time, Gabriel is doing everything he can to prove he is the best parent possible, also spending as much time as permitted with his daughter. “Gabe’s attending his court ordered anger management sessions and parenting classes,” says one source. “He isn’t a bad guy, he is trying to be the best dad possible to Nahla.”

In the end Gabe feels his exes decision to switch lawyers could help him because “he thinks it shows how desperate and impatient she is.” As far as Halle’s desire to move to France, he believes it’s just another plot to keep him out of Nahla’s life.

The source says Aubry feels that, in the end,  Nahla is the collateral damage in all of this.

She sure is, Gabe. But do you think Halle’s paying any attention to this?

—while wrong last December—are right on this past week. Reportedly, Berry became engaged to her beau last month.

Currently embroiled in a custody battle with her baby daddy, Gabriel Aubry, Berry is rushing to legally seal her love with Martinez. She recently asked a judge to allow her to move to France with fiancé and daughter, Nahla, a move Aubry vehemently rejects.

I would have to agree with the baby daddy on this move… not only because the distance would hurt his chances of seeing his child but the timing and hastiness of such a decision.

Is Halle—a woman constantly in rocky relationships—rushing to move in with her boyfriend to take full custody of her daughter?  It’s suspicious timing, but it’s great drama, and we’re staying tuned in.
