Much ado has been made about Kris Jenner’s parenting skills, but we can’t imagine what scenario could have caused the cops to make an unexpected visit to the Kardashian family matriarch’s home, to check on the welfare of her youngest daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner.

Indeed, police and social workers from the Lost Hills Sheriff’s Department stopped by the Jenner mansion in Calabasas, California over the weekend, after someone made an anonymous call regarding their safety.

“On Friday several sheriff’s deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lost Hills station and social workers from the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services made an unexpected visit to Bruce and Kris Jenner’s house after someone made an anonymous call that their daughters were in danger and in distress,” a law enforcement source tells RadarOnline.com.

“Social workers met with the girls individually and determined that they were fine but out of an abundance of caution, cops and social workers will be making another visit to the house Monday afternoon before they officially close the case,” the statement continues. “Under California law, anytime a call is made to DCFS alleging that a minor is in danger, whether of physical or emotional abuse, it must be investigated.”

A look at Kendall Jenner’s Twitter activity provides no clues into the mess. The aspiring model tweeted birthday wishes to her dad Bruce Jenner, who turned 63 on Sunday, and appeared to be in business-as-usual mode. No statement has been made (or leaked) by the family about the incident.

Hopefully the call was just a misunderstanding…or a publicity stunt that we’ll soon see on an upcoming episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

Sounds like the geniuses at the Apple Store in Los Angeles don’t keep up with the Kardashians. Momager Kris Jenner was shut down by management at a Topanga Canyon retail outlet last week when she tried to casually jump the line for five — yeah, five — brand new iPhone 5s. RadarOnline.com reports the hilarious details, saying Kris called her area Apple Store and told the poor chap who answered the phone to “set aside five iPhones for her and she’d send someone to pick them up when they were released on the September 21st.”

Oh, just like that, huh? Not so fast, Kris. The rep told Kim Kardashian’s mom that she’d have to get down to the store and stand in line like all us other mortals, and that didn’t sit well with her. “Kris got angry and demanded to talk to the manager,” the source tells Radar. “But no manager would speak to her because this wasn’t a negotiable issue.”

Jenner decided to just ignore the blue collar dude  who dared suggest she, you know, wait her turn, and sent her assistant down to the store on the day the devices hit the shelves. “‘I’m Kris Jenner’s assistant. I’m here to pick up the five iPhones’,” the source recalls the woman saying. “They had a lot of extra security on for crowd control and one of the guards told the assistant ‘See that line? Go wait in it and you will be helped.’”

We’re not sure if someone had to wait in line or not, but lo and behold, Kris’s clients children Kendall and Kylie Jenner had their new iPhones within hours of release, and Tweeted about their bounty to all their followers. Maybe Kris made a call to the ghost of Steve Jobs?

Was the late Robert Kardashian, Sr. really Khloe Kardashian father? According to Jan Ashley, who married the infamous lawyer after his divorce from Kris Jenner, and Ellen Kardashian , his last wife before he passed: Khloe is not his biological daughter.  The women say he suspected Khloe wasn’t really his daughter but never requested a paternity test because he loved her like his own.

“The audacity you have to mention my father’s name like this. Should be ashamed of urself [sic],” Khloe Tweeted when the story made rounds on the internet. “I let a lot of things slide but this one is really low. YOU ARE DISGUSTING.”

Khloe’s “stepmoms” reportedly received a huge payday to spill the dirt to Star magazine.“Khloe is not his kid,” said Jan.  “He told me that after we got married. He just kind of looked at me and said it like it was a matter of fact.”

Now, even Stevie Wonder can see that Khloe looks remarkably different than her nearly-identical older sisters and her younger brother (I’ve always thought she looked like she could be Lisa Marie Presley’s kid!) and apparently she even noticed it growing up.

“Khloe brought it up all the time,” Ellen said. “She looked nothing like the rest. She was tall, had a different shape, light hair, curly hair. Didn’t look anything like the other three children.”

Of course that happens, but, Kris Jenner admitted that she cheated on Robert Kardashian during their marriage, in a recent book Kris Jenner…and All Things Kardashian, which isn’t making it easier to sweep this “rumor” under the rug.

This probably won’t be a topic the family weaves into their E! reality shows…but at least Kim can breathe a sigh of relief that Khloe’s grabbing the baton to keep the Kardashian drama going.

In her new memoir, Kris Jenner gives new details on the moments leading up to the brutal murder of her best friend Nicole Brown Simpson.

Nicole, the ex-wife of football superstar-turned actor O.J. Simpson, was found brutally stabbed to death—along with her friend Ron Goldman—at her Los Angeles home on June 12,1994.

Jenner believes she could have saved her friend if she’d agreed to meet with her the morning of that fateful day. In the memoir Kris writes Nicole called her early on June 12th, saying: “Can you get over here…? I need to talk to you. It’s really important’.”

Being busy with her own children, Kris asked to put off their meeting until the next day. But Nicole was persistent. “‘That’s okay, can you meet me tomorrow for lunch? I really have to talk to you about something really, really important’.”

Jenner says it would be the “last time I would ever speak to Nicole.”

The next day she’d get the horrible news of her best friend’s murder.

But could she have really been able to stop it? Looking at what happened to Ron Goldman, Jenner should have been glad she didn’t meet with Nicole—at least for her kid’s sake.
