Okay, by now we know ‘Lil Wayne must have some kind of irresistible charm (how else do you explain all the ladies and babies?) but let me find out  he has some guard groupies at Rikers!

Two little birdies told the New York Post that investigators at the Correction Department questioned Capt. Latanya Brown after it was revealed she might be “spending extra time” with the rapper (mmmhmm that’s what got Nivea, Lauren London and the other chick in trouble) and “letting him hang out in his cell while other inmates were locked out of their bunks and ordered into the recreation yard.”

The Corrections Department claims to have zero tolerance for officers who give preferential treatment to inmates.

This is the second female guard who has gotten into trouble over Wayne since he’s been in jail. The first one was fired when she was spotted hanging around the unit he resides in, unauthorized.

I need these C.O.s to stop playing “Mrs. Officer” so they can keep their jobs!

‘Lil Wayne may be in Rikers but he’s still got money on his mind.  The free time has helped him notice that he might’ve gotten jacked!

Wayne and Young Money Touring Inc. are accusing a former booking agency of skimming $375,000 off the books over the past two years, Hip Hop Wired reports. The company in question is Ujaama Talent Agency Inc. and a lawsuit filed by ‘Lil Wayne’s lawyers maintains that Wayne participated in four tours with Ujaama, until a disagreement occurred between the two companies over money for the “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival” tours in summer and winter of 2009. The claim also states Wayne worked with the company to book a national tour in October 2009, just one month before he went to jail.  According to the suit, the company’s owners  ”elected to divert to Ujaama’s own bank account an amount not less than $375,000.”  The owners claim that this money is owed to them for the tours in question.

This isn’t the only legal drama that Wayne has had to deal with while he’s been locked up. The rapper was recently sued by his manager for fraud and breach of contract to the tune of $500, 000.

Are people trying to get over on Wayne because he’s in jail or is he really shady when it comes to paying what he owes? Hmm…

He may be gone, but Lil Wayne has certainly not been forgotten while serving his sentence at Rikers, and the rapper hasn’t forgotten his fans or loved ones either. Weezy released a letter on his site WeezyThanxYou.com. He called the letter “Just Another Day,” and wrote:

“What’s poppin?!

Me, I’m good, figured I’d update my glorious fans again. Better sooner than later right? I’ll try to do this more frequently.

Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever. I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally. There’s some pretty cool people in here. Even though this isn’t a cool place to be. I’ve learned plenty already and the best lesson is to not come back. Last night, I kicked a– in UNO! …though it’s hot, I still work out. Now don’t be expecting me to look like Hercules when I get out, but I should be a little bulky. I guess.”

Let me find out he’s getting deisel in there! Although his commissary list was also recently released and according to TMZ he’s snacking on things like Nacho Cheese Doritos, beef sticks, Ramen noodles and Kool-Aid so maybe he’s just trying to make sure he doesn’t get a gut!

In the letter he also made it clear he’s been keeping up with pop culture news as he advised Chris Paul of the Charlotte Hornets to join the Lakers and shouted out Lindsay Lohan and shouted out Young Money:

“Off the subject but hey Chris, I think you should team up with Kobe! Go Lakers! Hey Lindsey, glad it’s over doll. I should have written her huh? Young Money, you’re the best I ever had. Look out for Nino 3, and I Am Not A Human Being. Coming soon.”

Of course he couldn’t forget his family, mom and his tribe of kids:
“Mother, I love you. Nae, you’re my angel. Lil Tunechi Jr., you’re the man. Lil Kam, you’re the best heartbreaker. Lil Neal, you’re the littler meatball. I love you all.”

And last but not least he personally shouted out dozens of fans that have written him.

Glad to see Wayne’s doing well under the circumstances! He comes home in November.

When Chris Brown Tweeted “tatted like a cholo” with the picture above all I could do was shake my head. He already had tats covering most of his arms, chest, hand and of course the matching tattoos he got with Rihanna on the back of his neck.

Luckily, it seems it’s a fake. According to online reports Chris also Tweeted “THE neck tatts are for a movie… NOT REAL!!!!! calm down lol…” but then quickly deleted the message. He probably got muzzled by his publicist for speaking about the project too early which only makes me wonder what movie he’ll be in and if acting will help his career any more than his last album did — as we all know, Chris ranted that radio and retail stores were not supporting his music.  But, more than anything I’m just glad he can wash that tacky tatt off!

For those wondering whether BET’s own Toya Carter took her child, Reginae Carter, to visit her dad, Lil’ Wayne in prison she answers that question in an interview with VIBE.com.

The reality star and ex-wife of Lil’ Wayne explained that she didn’t want her daughter to visit a correctional facility.

On prison Toya says:

“That’s no place for a kid to go. [Wayne and I] just decided not to let her go [to Riker's Island] period. She’s never been. He makes sure he talks to his daughter everyday, talking and writing is enough.”

So what did Reginae do instead?

Toya added:

“[Reginae's] writing her father a letter and she took pictures for him. When I go visit, I’ll bring it to him,” says Toya. “We may spend [the day] with my father or just together.”

Reports may claim that Lil’ Wayne got in trouble at Rikers Island for having an unauthorized mp3 player in his possession, but his ex-wife says it’s simply not true.

In an interview with VIBE.com, Toya Carter said the reports are false.

She explained:

“All of that stuff about MP3s and cell phones… that’s not true. I don’t know where that stuff comes from,” says Toya. “Yes, I did [confirm with him]. He doesn’t know where any of this is coming from. Wayne doesn’t entertain that. [But] he’s doing great.”

She also took time to discuss her currently relationship with Atlanta rapper MempHitz indirectly by making it known that she’s in love and that there could be a possible second marriage for her in the near future.

On Tuesday morning, MempHitz was the subject of a rumor that he physically abused his ex-girlfriend.

But we were STARTLED last night, when his ex-girlfriend, the R&B singer K Michelle went on Twitter suggesting that he used to BEAT HER.

MediaTakeOut.com learned that she Tweeted, “You wanna know the TRUTH? Ask Memphitz.” And then she followed it up by, “I think me and Memphitz should go on Ustream. Let’s talk about domestic violence and blowing [record label] budgets.”

We’re gonna give Memphitz the benefit of the doubt . . . for NOW!! But bruh,it ain’t looking good for you . . .

MempHitz addressed the rumors sort of via his Twitter account, tweeting:

He also retweeted messages from supporters who called the reports “lies” and saying K.Michelle was trying to “slander his name.”

Aww! Just in time for Mother’s Day, Lil Wayne has penned a insightful dedication to mothers around the world.

“The love between a mother and her offspring is hands down the most beautiful thing God created,” the rapper writes. “More than money, more than fame, more than cars. You know why? Because true love is the only thing that lasts from the moment you’re born to the second you perish. Everything else eventually leaves, think about it. All love needs to survive is love. To all the mothers who read this letter, I hope this day allows you to feel the love and respect you so rightfully deserve. You are the role models, not me.”

It’s the second post Wayne has written for his site, WeezyThanxYou.com, which was created so that he could keep in touch with fans during his year-long prison term.

Of course Weezy F. Baby shouted out the mamas in his own life, starting with Toya, Sarah ViVian, Nivea and Lauren London collectively:

“To the mothers of my beautiful children, there remains nothing but love, adoration and respect coming from my heart. Even with the mistakes I’ve made in my life, you give me reason to smile in a place where they attempt to break your spirit each day the sun rises. I love my babies with all my heart. And the fact you brought them into this world only gives me more and more motivation to write these words. Happy Mother’s Day.”

Then he shows his own mother some love and tells her to “find comfort knowing your son loves you and misses you like crazy.”

He ends by wishing a “Happy Mother’s Day to each and every lady who has raised/is raising her kids the best way possible.”

We concur and we like seeing this side of Wayne from time to time!

In the latest edition of Ozone magazine, Lil’ Wayne answers his critics as to whether or not he’s disrespectful of women.

When called to task about his use of the words “b*tches” and “h*es” in his lyrical content, a defiant Lil’ Wayne dismissed the walk and responded with this:

“There’s two answers to that. One is – there are b*tches. There are hoes. There are ladies. There are women. There are girls. Pick which side you’re on. When somebody’s saying something about “b*tches,” if they didn’t say “Julia is a b*tch,” if it doesn’t apply to you then it doesn’t apply to you. The second answer is, you’d have to be a woman who’s met me to know if I believe you’re a b*tch or a hoe or whatever.”

This of course has been the regurgitated response from every rapper for the last 20 years.

Sooner or later it will make sense to someone.

Now as for talk of him dating his artist, Shanell, Wayne replied:

“That’s a rumor, sweetheart. No, it’s never been a personal thing. As far as us being friends, yeah. That’s my friend. Shanell is a great artist and that’s it, period. She’s a Young Money great artist. I heard a rumor that she was pregnant from me. How could that be? We’ve never had sex. How could she be pregnant from me? You’ve got to have sex to be pregnant. That’s one of the things you have to do. I don’t understand how people’s brains work. You know? I’m a really big person. I’m a real superstar. I’m not afraid to tell you or nobody else, you know? I die every week [according to the rumors]. I’m in jail right now [according to the rumors].”

You probably know most of Lil Wayne’s baby mamas–Toya, Nivea and Lauren London–since they each have their feet in the entertainment industry, but not much has been said about Weezy F. Baby’s first born son’s mother Sarah ViVian. Now Wayne’s baby mama #2 is trying to get some of her own shine through a blog she just started at GlobalGrind.com.

“Although Wayne is a significant part of my life, up until this point, that is all the public has known of me,” the 22-year-old Cincinnati native wrote in her first entry. “Now I think it’s only fair that I introduce you all to the creative, passionate, intellectual, and playful woman that is Sarah ViVan.”

Don’t expect her to start any drama through the blog. She warns: “don’t count on me bashing anyone. This is a ‘hater-free’ zone.”

Instead, ViVan aims to “bring my readers, entertainment, as well as, insight on my views dealing with numerous topics from the perspective of a mother, stylist, and young Asian-American woman.”

After several delays, ‘Lil Wayne aka “Inmate Carter” began serving his sentence on Monday at Riker’s Island and life is a lot different in Wayne’s (new) World.

“Inmate Carter is in a category of housing that we call ‘general population/escort,’ ” a New York City Department of Corrections official told People magazine. Every hour Wanye can decide if he wants to be locked in or out of his six-by-ten cell and when he leaves the housing area (his cell or a day room which he shares with 19 other inmates), he will have a captain escorting him at all times.

According to ihiphop.com who spoke to another correctional officer at Rikers: “There’s a lotta hype surrounding the fact the he’s not in protective custody (PC), but in general population. But it’s not really a big thing. In prison, they treat all inmates like the next” and apparently “so far the inmates love him” and “there doesn’t seem to be anyone, any faction trying to get at him in a harmful way.” Wayne has kept a fairly low profile so far: “There hasn’t been much activity with Wayne, especially since he’s busy undergoing the processing an inmate goes through immediately upon his incarceration….The only thing out of the norm is the amount of calls the prison has been receiving from Wayne’s people, hounding them with questions about whether he’ll be forced to cut his hair, and a few weeks ago, what would the situation be with him having all them carats in his mouth (I think that’s why they opted to have that emergency dental procedure).”

Apparently “a couple of guards have been written up, only because they’ve acted like fans, having more personal interaction with Wayne than is procedure” but Wayne is leading a pretty standard life behind the wall.  He wears the standard institutional clothing: Green work shirt and pants plus slip-on style sneakers, will eat on the same meal schedule as everyone else (4:30 am breakfast, 11am lunch, 4:30pm dinner), will get an hour of outside recreation daily, can buy snacks and toiletries from his Commissary account, which friends and family can contribute to online (you know he’ll be hooked up there) and has visitation privileges (how long before Young Money takes a field trip?).

Weezy was sentenced to a year in the slammer for a gun charge — but he could be out sooner if he stays on his best behavior.
