Rae Dawn Chong may not believe in the power of Oprah Winfrey, but Michael Lohan is hoping O’s magic touch will be just what his troubled daughter Lindsey Lohan needs.
Winfrey’s OWN Network paid Lindsey $2 million for an upcoming exclusive sit down interview and an 8-part docu reality series. Michael says he’s happy for his daughter and believes Oprah’s influence just might help his daughter stay clean.
‚ÄúI think Oprah did her a great justice. I think it‚Äôs awesome that she gave her this opportunity,‚ÄĚ Michael told TMZ. ‚ÄúIt‚Äôs going to keep her straight, it‚Äôs going to get her back on her feet again. It‚Äôs awesome.‚ÄĚ
Normally Michael and his ex-wife Dina disagree on all things Lindsey. But Dina¬† almost exactly echoed Michael sentiments concerning her high hopes for her daughter’s latest career move. She told E! News, ‚ÄúOh, it‚Äôs fantastic. If anyone is going to help mentor you, it‚Äôs Oprah.‚ÄĚ
The Lohan clan sure has a lot riding on Saint O. But then again, if anyone can make a miracle happen for Lindsey, Oprah can.
