While every one’s tripping over whether it’s “right” to call Halle Berry’s daughter Nahla “Black”…or not because her dad, Gabriel Aubry, is French Canadian, another Canadian we know, Drake, isn’t afraid to claim the other half of his mixed race.

Drake’s mother is a White Jewish Canadian and his father is African-American. TMZ asked the rapper ”Who do you think is a better Jew, you or Harvey Levin” (their executive editor). Drake responded: “I don’t know, I’m one of the best Jews to do it ever in life.” Well, move over Moses!

Drake’s also very proud of his home country. “I’m a very patriotic Canadian,” he said.

See folks. Not everything had to be so black or white all the time. For those who apply, shouldn’t it be okay to acknowledge both?
