If you watched BET’s Frankie and Neffe, you saw firsthand that Keyshia Cole wasn’t always on great terms with her mother and sister. Off-screen, the situation between the family members got even crazier, with Cole’s other sister, Elite, being thrown into the mix. Neffe and Elite told the press that Cole was “turning her back” on the family. The singer, who was pregnant at the time, released a statement to her fans and said she cut communication with her birth mother and sisters because she “needed serenity and peace to move forward.” Now Keyshia seems to have had a change of heart.

On Jan. 20 she Tweeted:

“@keyshiacole: I will be going to atl for a few days so I’m gonna let neffe and elite meet Dj for the first time if they r there. And my mom spend time.

@keyshiacole: I’m learning Wht [sic] forgiveness really means.”

We’re not sure if the reunion has gone down, or if it ever will, but we’re rooting for the family and hope they are able to convene drama-free. There’s nothing like healing old wounds.

I’m not sure what Frankie and Neffe are up to these days, but I do know one thing: Somebody obviously put in some serious work with their images on Photoshop.

No shade to Frankie and Neffe because they’re not bad looking women.

It’s just the women in these shots don’t really match the ones we saw on TV.

According to the blog Straight From The A! photographer Michael Antonio who gave these women their glamour shots.

Some hail him as a miracle worker, others say a magician, while some say he simply helped piece together the natural beauty hidden all of that hollering and screaming.

While they won’t call it a feud, obviously Neffe and Elite feel a certain kind of way about their sister, Keyshia Cole, publicly stating that she’s no longer keeping contact with her family.

The two sisters appeared on the Ryan Cameron show in Atlanta to finally reveal their thoughts about the widely reported rift between them and Keyshia.

On the statement:

Neffe: You could never cut your blood loose no matter what you are doing on this earth. It runs through our veins. I’m gonna keep it 100. My sister decided to live a different life. It’s not because “oh we ghetto, we belligerent and loud”. We are all cut from the same cloth. [We all came from Frankie] If you see us, we out there, it’s just that Keyshia keeps hers from behind closed doors.

Elite: When I read it I was shocked. It was hurtful too. I had just come off of tour with Keyshia. We had 3 or 4 tours, I worked for my sister, I was her assistant for 8 months so I worked. I was shocked [by the statement]. Last time we spoke to her we didn’t think it was going to be a public permanent thing. When we last spoke to my sister, we had a family dinner to discuss some family matters and she was a little upset about the whole Frankie and Neffe Show.

Neffe: She is upset about it. She did not embrace the fact that “The Way It Is” was done and they had picked up “Frankie and Neffe”. We didn’t ask for that. We didn’t go to her and said “Sister Sister please can you give us a show. Can you give us a shot. Can we be stars”. We never asked Keyshia to do anything for us. She brought us down here to make our lives better but it didn’t get better, it got worse.”

On how life actually got worse once the two moved from California to Atlanta, Neffe said:

“For the record, I love my sister but you have to understand this is real life this is not a game. She’s a beautiful person. The “Way It Is” didn’t cut us no checks. We didn’t start seeing no money until the Frankie or Neffe show.”

She also reiterated that once she moved to Atlanta she was working two jobs – including one at AMC Theaters in addition to being a CNA. She also added that she’s certified to drive a bus. Not really the focal point of the post, but a nice tidbit to add.

Neffe and Soullow have spoken out against rumors that the two have broken up.

Atlanta blogger Freddy O caught up with the couple and assured him that they are still together. Neffe also touched on rumors that she was broke and about to lose her home.

She explained:

“Everything I get is from what I earn . And if it wasn’t for my strong tight knit close family members I don’t know where I would be.

I work hard for everything I have and my kids get anything and everything they want. If you come to my house you will see that they have Playstation 3s and flat screen televisions and any and everything they could ever want. I am lost for words at the way the media portrays me and my family. But I understand everybody needs somebody to hate on. I love my family. I love my sister Keyshia, most importantly, I love God. At the end of the day nobody did nothing for me but God and myself.”

I didn’t know people were going around claiming  Neffe was broke, but at least she cleared it up. Apparently Neffe, Frankie, and Elite will be appearing on Atlanta radio for a reported “tell-all interview.”

As we noted previously, Keyshia Cole released a statement distancing herself from her family.

On the last season of Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is, Neffe got her boyfriend, rapper Soullow’s name tattooed all across her inner forearm.

Many wondered just what was she thinking when she decided to go through with that considering what a nasty break-up she had with her husband.

I wonder if she’s now asking herself that because it seems Neffe and Soullow have broken up.

Neffe had this to say about her ex-boyfriend on Twitter:

The two do have a child together, so there’s something permanent about their relationship. I’m just not sure I’d want a reminder of that every single time I put on lotion.

Next time stick to the basics like your mama, grandma, uncle, your baby, or some foreign language symbols that you know you don’t really understand.

P.S. All this time I thought the name was “Soullow.” That’s how they’ve been spelling it to the press. Sollow, Soullow, whatever. You all know who we’re talking about.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say Neffe was trying to make sure the Black community is completely outpaced by the Latino population growth in this country with all these babies she keeps popping out.

I noticed a while back that her stomach was fighting her face for camera time. And shortly thereafter she confirmed, then denied, then confirmed again that she was with child.

Well, Mama Neffe is currently in labor.

Sister2Sistermagazine.com has the scoop:

She told S2S exclusively that she went into labor around 2 a.m. Thursday when she realized that her contractions were about four minutes apart, but her water hasn’t broken yet. The reality TV star wants to deliver her little girl by cesarean section, however her mom Frankie is encouraging her to go with natural childbirth.

Neffe has had a couple c-sections before, so Frankie said this is probably just a false alarm, advising her daughter to wait another 10 or 11 hours just to be sure. And Frankie is speaking from experience: She’d had a few cesareans too before she delivered Neffe naturally.

But since Neffe is sure the baby is coming now, she said to hell with waiting her out. “These contractions are kicking my butt,” she said. Now, doctors are on their way to her room to break her water and begin the c-section.

Frankie was very emotional when she called early this morning to deliver the good news. And Neffe’s fiancé Soullow is at the hospital.

Congratulations to Neffe and Soullow. Keep holding us down for the next census.

But riddle me this, folk: How many babies does this make for Neffe?

Update: Neffe’s popped the new kid out. Her name is Nayla and the new mommy has this to say the “haters:”

“To all of you that said me and Soullow weren’t going to make it, we are still standing, ya’ll. Gotta beautiful daughter, got beautiful children, so its a movement and I love it.”

Late last week word got out of a “Twitter beef” between BET’s own Neffe and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak.

The beef started over “TheRealNeffe” on Twitter posting Zolciak’s phone number for the entire twitterverse to see. Zolciak’s claims that after her number was posted on Twitter she became bombarded with thousands of phone calls.

She then proceeded to curse “TheRealNeffe” out – calling her a “BET B—ch.”

What is a “BET B—ch” supposed to mean? Kim, it’s a tight rope between you and the black community. Watch your mouth.

Not to mention, have your facts in order, because apparently, Neffe isn’t even on Twitter. Keyshia Cole’s sister wrote on Global Grind:

“It was a rude awakening to start my day receiving phone calls about some so-called ‘twitter beef’ I have going on with one of the Atlanta Housewives and one that I don’t even really know.  First of all, this twitter account circulating with my name is NOT ME.  I don’t even really twitter and I especially wouldn’t spend energy to post anyone’s personal information on a world-wide forum, for what?  That serves no purpose to me.  Secondly, I am raising a family and have too many daily responsibilities that take up too much of my valuable time t o be involving myself in some petty, childish foolishness.

And please know that I must be growing and changing because even though I am mad as hell that someone feels the need to misrepresent me in the most unnecessary way, I refuse to get involved in a catty battle with someone that I don’t even know.  So to the haters, sorry to disappoint if you were expecting me to revert back to behaviors of the past, but I have too much joy in my life to have it be compromised by a false rumor.  And with that said, I look forward to really getting deep into this blog and sharing experiences and asking you guys questions that will hopefully move us all in a more positive direction.”

Nice to know Neffe is making a real effort to mature.

Neffe seems to have finally made up her mind about the status of her stomach.

First she said she was pregnant and quickly retracted that claim. She then blamed bloggers for spreading a rumor that she herself started.

But now she’s saying there’s a baby in her belly.

In a new video, in addition to asking for $60 in gas back from whoever rode with her, Neffe mentioned her big belly and having a baby girl.

Congratulations, Neffe, but what was the point of you lying about it?

A week ago, Neffe told Sister 2 Sister: “I’m pregnant and I got an attitude with him [Atlanta-based rapper Soullow] and don’t want him to f***ing touch me right now—or ever.”

Typically when you tell people, “Hey, I’m pregnant!” it’s after you take a home pregnancy test and then go by the doctor’s office to confirm. But Neffe didn’t do that. 

In an updated interview with the magazine, she told them that she just missed her period and had a feeling. That “feeling” hasn’t been confirmed by anyone familiar with a sonogram, so who knows if she’s pregnant with a baby or attention deficit disorder. 

We love her, so good luck with whatever you’re carrying, Neffe.

It seems the gift of fertility is strong in Keyshia Cole’s family. Her sister, Neffe, has confirmed that she is pregnant yet again.

Speaking with Sister2Sister, the knocked up Neffe said, “I’m pregnant and I got an attitude with him [Atlanta-based rapper Soullow] and don’t want him to f***ing touch me right now—or ever. Because I—was not supposed to happen this way. Now I’m trying to figure this s**t out, ’cause I just had Jaylen.”

When news of a new child is expressed in such a sentimental way, how can anyone not help but feel all warm and tingly inside?

This will be the first child for the couple and number five for Neffe. Soullow also has children from previous relationships.
