Raz B Says He’s Leaving for China

Published by Runteldat on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 12:00 am.

After several months of starting drama for his own benefit, Raz B says he’s moving to China in order to explore a whole new world.

You know, like the girl from Aladdin that Nicki Minaj doesn’t want to be. Anyway, Raz B sent a video to World Star Hip Hop about the move.

On moving to China, the former B2K member said:

“I’ve been planning to do this for some years, but now I think it’s the best time. I’m moving to China. It’s some great opportunities over there for me and I’m gonna seize them.”

Given Raz B is about as honest as a designer purse from Canal Street, I wouldn’t be surprised if Raz was actually moving to Chinatown, or his homegirl China’s house, or only hitting up some Chinese buffet—anywhere but the land where they speak Mandarin.

But, if he’s telling the truth, good for him. As a matter of fact, stay there. Never return.

Here’s Raz on the move in his own words:

Safe travels.

Ricky Romance Engaged to ‘Family Matters’ Actress

Published by Dior Noir on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 3:00 pm.

Remember “Laura Winslow’s” bestie “Maxine” from Family Matters (yeah, I forgot about her too)?  Well congratulations are in order for the actress Cherie Johnson who just got engaged to  Raz B’s brother Ricky Romance.

Laura and Maxine; Family Matters.

TMZ reports Ricky popped the question a while back but the couple is now trying to pitch a reality show about themselves that promises to “tackle all sorts of crazy issues like pregnancy and Ricky’s parole obligations”  (because reality shows about random “celebrities” are so new right?).  The duo is said to be billing themselves as “The new Bobby and Whitney.” *blank stare*

Doesn’t it seem like everybody wants their 15-minutes of reality fame these days? The show hasn’t been picked up yet, so this picture of the engagement ring might be the only couple shine they get:

Would you watch a reality show starring Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Romance?

Foxy Brown Spits Homophobic Twitter Rant

Published by Dior Noir on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 3:00 pm.

Didn’t we just go through an episode of Chris Brown apologizing for using homophobic slurs in his Twitter beef with Raz B a few weeks ago? Now here comes Foxy Brown on the same mess. When will folks learn?

Foxy  got a little too hype about her upcoming Lil’ Kim diss “Christmas Massacre”  (sigh, don’t even get me started on her wanting to join the cat fight)  and had some foul choice words when hyping it up on her Twitter page:

All that though Foxy? Have a seat! As much as her antics have hurt her career over the years, you’d think she’d be trying to win back fans, not alienate a portion of them. There was absolutely no reason for her to drop the F-bomb.

Celebs should do something to get in the news besides being offensive.  Like — just make good music for once!  Let’s end the shock-factor rants and tirades and put out some hot tracks!

Raz-B Denies Starting Twitter Beef With Chris Brown

Published by Runteldat on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 12:00 am.

Ever hear the phrase “throw a rock and hide your hand?”

That is Raz-B’s new life credo. Now, more than ever, this fallen boy band member knows how to drum up mess and then pretends to be aloof as to how it happened…

The latest instance of this is Raz taking to Twitter to deny starting the Twitter beef between he and Chris Brown.

Oh and it gets better: He says most of the offensive remarks hurled at Chris weren’t by him. Apparently some other person – a magic dragon, perhaps – took control of his phone and computer.

Raz in his own words:

“I must be honest with everyone! like i sent message to @Chrisbrown i honestly never tweeted that message to Chris! i did say something along the line however my respect for chris i would never do him like that! thats why i had to step up and make things right! to add all these videos you see of my emotions i never posted them nor tagged them! people try real hard to tear you down! look how the media try to do Chris! @ the same time things shouldnt had been said! its the people around me that started this! so please stop the hate mail.”

Let go and let God send you to a psychiatrist and pharmacist. After that, let the highest pave the road to Job Corps for you. Amen.

Chris Brown Mocks Ricky Romance

Published by Runteldat on Monday, January 3, 2011 at 12:00 am.

Welcome back all (from Friday). The first post of 2011 on Spotlight focuses on a story I really hoped had died in 2010. You know, because Chris Brown said he would shut up after engaging in an unnecessary Twitter fight with the ghost of boy band’s past, Raz-B.

Well, apparently he’s already dropped that New Year’s resolution.

Raz-B’s brother, Ricky Romance, uploaded a video online threatening to put a pistol in Chris’ mouth. As stupid as it is to record yourself making a death threat and put it online, it may be arguably just as stupid to respond to it online.

Granted, Chris did so in spoof fashion, but still why is this millionaire trying to forge a comeback (and doing well at it if you go by Billboard) wasting his time dealing with people who need to spend their online time looking up classes at their local community college?

See it for yourselves by clicking here.

11 Things To Hope For In 2011: Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Kim and Twitter

Published by Runteldat on Friday, December 31, 2010 at 12:00 am.

With a new year comes new wishes and in 2011, I’m hoping most if not all of following happens:

11. Raz-B finds a therapist and pharmacist who can serve his needs far better than Twitter and World Star Hip Hop ever have.

10. Lauryn Hill finally decides if she’s going to release another album or not.

9. The Kardashians become less and less interesting with each superfluous story. Oh wait, that’s already happened, hasn’t it? Well, there’s still hope for Kim Kardashian and that whole “singing career,” right?

8. Rihanna starts dance lessons from the Twerk Team. I love Rih but you’ve got to give the rude boys more than just a live Kodak shot on stage.

7. Kelly Rowland finally scores a solo hit single in America. We love Kelly and a hit has got to be coming around the mountain for her.

6. Kanye West never utters the words “Taylor Swift” ever again.

5. Lil’ Kim finds something else to do other than embarrassing herself over Nicki Minaj.

4.  We have no unfortunate celebrity deaths to report around the holidays. Rest in peace, Teena Marie.

3. Beyoncé comes back and saves us from all this mediocrity.

2. Rappers learn to stop dealing with Kat Stacks. Twitter users and bloggers follow suit.

1. Publicists start giving their clients Twitter tutorials. Celebrities learn to stop making it too easy to roast them via failure to spell check, engaging in petty beef, leaking unnecessary nude shots, and other classic mistakes made all too often online.

I won’t hold my breath, though. Happy New Year, readers!

One Last Twitter Beef For 2010: Chris Brown Vs. Raz-B

Published by Runteldat on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 6:14 pm.

For hours now, Twitter has been caught up in the virtual feud between Chris Brown and the boy band community’s least favorite wire tapper, Raz-B.

Raz-B has spent much of this week on Twitter trying to get the attention of Rihanna. In the midst of his many, many tweets, Raz shaded Eric Benet and Chris Brown over their treatment of Halle Berry and Rih-Rih.

Fed up with his attention whoring antics, Chris Brown started responding to Raz and a back and forth ensued.

See below:

Chris, give your password to your publicist and stop paying attention to people who don’t deserve your attention.

Bow Wow Clears Up Those ‘Suicide Tweets’

Published by Dior Noir on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 3:00 pm.

Bow Wow had us worried when he started Tweeting about wanting to end it all last month. “I swear i be wishing i was dead sometimes. Because i feel like that’s the only way ill get peace,” he said to his followers at the beginning of a long rant. But don’t worry, the rapper’s not really suicidal. He sat down with Angie Ange of WKYS 93.9 radio station in DC to explain just what he meant. Basically he paralleled his life to Macaulay Culkin’s character in that old movie Richie Rich and was just venting about not having a “normal life.”

“All I know is the business. I didn’t have time to play football or none of the regular stuff so at times it haunts you because of course you are going to be unbalanced. You’ve never seen the other side. How can you have balance in life if you haven’t seen the other side of life? I’m unbalanced because I’ve only seen one side of life. It’s not by choice, but that’s the way it is. Some days I wake up and I do want to fit in sometimes. I go to Target, I shop at Target and people look at me like “why are you in here”…so what I can’t shop at Target? I didn’t really mean it like ‘yo I’m about to kill myself’, it’s like yo, I wonder when will I get peace? I guess the only way I’ll get it is when I’m dead.”

I always think it’s funny when celebrities get on that “all I want is a normal life” tip. Um, didn’t you sign up to be famous so that your life wouldn’t be ordinary? But good to see Bow Wow isn’t going off the deep end and it was just a little Twitter rant.
Chin up, Bow Wow!
While he was clearing things up, Bow Wow also spoke on the alleged Kat Stacks attack and gave his two cents on Raz-B’s sexual molestation allegations (remember Raz threw Bow Wow’s name all up in the mix).

On Kat Stacks:
It’s easy to deal with something that never happened. I’m a vet, I’ve been in the game  long enough. I done heard it all and done it all,” he said. “Even when people got to make up stories…whatever it is she gotta do to make ends meet, go ahead and do it. I’m getting mine over here, that doesn’t even phase me at all what she’s doing. It’s entertainment. I need a laugh sometimes too. If you all need a laugh I’m not the type of rapper that gets bent out of shape about what people say about me. I have homies around me that know me….that doesn’t mean nothing to me at all.
On Raz-B:
The best thing I would say, a lot of these young cats have no guidance in the game. They weren’t surrounded with official dudes who got respect. It starts with your camp and who you run with. I ain’t got those problems… I ain’t around no suckas. If you got some squares in your camp, you gotta get rid of that. I feel sorry for dude. I feel there’s a better way he can probably go about his situation. If it’s that serious, there’s a better way to handle that.”

Raz-B’s Brother, Marques Houston Both File Restraining Orders

Published by Runteldat on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:50 am.

It’s a battle of restraining orders between Team Chris Stokes and Team Raz-B.

If you recall, Raz-B alleged that Chris Stokes molested him while Marques Houston penetrated him. As a result, both Marques Houston and Raz-B’s brother have filed legal documents in a tit-for-tat.

Late last week, Radar Online reported that Marques Houston was granted a restraining order against Raz-B, citing claims that the former B2K member “falsely accused me of molesting him.”

In the documents, Marques wrote:

“About three weeks ago, DeMario Thornton, aka Raz B, released a video recording via the internet of a conversation that we had…DeMario is screaming at me…he has a deranged demeanor and is not acting like a reasonable person. After I hung up on DeMario, he continued recording himself and falsely accused me of molesting him.”

Houston says the allegations are causing him “emotional distress” and now worries that Raz “would become physically violent toward me and others.”

And now Raz-B’s brother, Ricky Romance, has filed a restraining order of his own and according to him, somebody’s grandfather is high on Geritol and ready to swing a cane and/or pop a pistol.

Via LowKeyMessy.com:

“In documents obtained by lowKeY MeSsY, yesterday Raz B’s brother, Ricky Romance went to a downtown LA courthouse and filed his own set of restraining orders on behalf of himself and Raz B against Stokes, Houston, and O citing that he “fears for his life.”

Romance cites that he has allegedly received numerous death threats, been stalked, followed, and even had someone jump over the balcony at his residence with intent to cause him and his family harm.  While none of this has been validated, he even went so far as asking for relief from Stokes’ grandfather!”

Either cry on Mo’Nique’s couch already or legally end this. Video sites and stalking bloggers isn’t the answer.

Marques Houston Responds to Raz-B’s Accusations

Published by Dior Noir on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 3:00 pm.

Oh you thought Marques Houston wasn’t going to clap back at the molestation accusations that Raz-B has been throwing his way?  Yeah we were wondering when it was going to happen too, but instead of Tweeting, doing an interview or making a video response you boy went straight to the cops and filed a restraining order against the former B2K member.

“About three weeks ago, DeMario Thornton, aka Raz B, released a video recording via the internet of a conversation that we had…DeMario is screaming at me…he has a deranged demeanor and is not acting like a reasonable person,” Houston wrote in the paperwork that was obtained by Radar Online. “After I hung up on DeMario, he continued recording himself and falsely accused me of molesting him.”

Houston claims the video that has been making its way across the web are causing him “emotional distress” and said he was worried that ”[Raz-B] would become physically violent towards me and others.”

A judge signed off on the restraining order on Wednesday, Nov. 3, with orders for Raz-B to stay 100 yards away from Houston, his home, job and vehicle.  A hearing is set for Nov. 22nd.

Look like it’s time for Raz-B to get off YouTube and kill the noise…or make like Houston and take this mess to court.

Thoughts?
