Gloria Govan is ready to get back in the ring. The fiesty Basketball Wives star wants to go a few rounds with some members of the series’ Miami cast, in particular Shaunie O’Neal and Evelyn Lozada.

“I think I’d use my moves on every cast member in Miami,” Gloria joked to EURweb.com. “I’d knock out Shaunie [O’Neal] first. I’d backhand the s*** out of Shaunie.”

She vows to go a little easier on some of her other co-stars. “Royce [Reed] and I had a moment… so I would wait for that. I wouldn’t knock her out; I’d probably just smack the s*** out of her. Suzie [Ketcham], I like, so that’s cool. Jennifer [Williams] just gets on my nerves, like her voice irritates me. So, I would try to take out her voice box.”

But Gloria seems to be saving her best punch for Evelyn Lozada. “Her whole face is irritating,” Govan says bluntly of the newly-single star. Unfortunately, Gloria’s comments about punching out Lozada couldn’t have come at a worse time.

Despite appearances, Govan insists she’s just kidding, and even comments on the controversy surrounding violence and bad behavior on the show. “The audience really wants [violence]. They don’t want to see us skipping down the street. They don’t want to see that. It’s unfortunate,” she says, adding, “you’ve got to bring those ratings and viewers.”

Still, be careful of throwing the first stone, GG. You know some of these ladies would be more than happy to finish the fight.

Shaunie O’Neal is denying she had anything to do with pink-slipping Royce Reed, Jennifer Williams and Kesha Nichols from Basketball Wives.

Sources close to Shaunie are telling TMZ that the BBW creator was “blind-sided” by the news and that the production company “leaves her in the dark about everything.” So much so, that she’s considering walking away from her executive producer contract.

Wow. That means our girl Shaunie must be telepathic or psychic or something, because she announced the news of the firings a full three days before they actually happened!

The source goes on to say that Shaunie wants Shed Media, the production company behind BBW, to know she is “this close” to storming away from the whole damn franchise if it “becomes something she no longer believes in.”

Well, Basketball Wives seems to have pretty much hit rock-bottom already and Shaunie’s still around, so we’re guessing she’s gonna stay put and collect her fat fee.

Basketball Wives LA star Laura Govan is ready to sever ties with Shaunie O’Neal, but she’ll still cash her checks. The star of the LA reality franchise tells J’Adore magazine that she and series creator O’Neal are dunzo, after Shaq’s ex accused Govan of getting down with O.P.P. in 2010.

“I don’t have a relationship with Shaunie and I never will. The information she was given about Shaq and I was false, and she took it and ran with it,” Govan says, referring to the rumors that she hooked up with Shaq while he was still married to Shaunie.

“I didn’t appreciate it at all and for that reason I will never speak to her again. I don’t have beef with her. If we see each other, I won’t chin check her, but that’s why I chose to do Basketball Wives LA. I wanted people to see exactly who I am opposed to what you heard on Season One: Miami. I mean, there were five grown women talking about me and they had no idea who I was. That was unfair, but it goes to show you where their mentality was.”

Well, at least Govan is smart enough not to chin-check her boss. I would say trashing her in the press isn’t the brightest move either, but as far as I know, no reality star has ever gotten fired for starting a good street fight.

Whether or not Govan will return to Basketball Wives LA isn’t clear, but if rumors that her fiance Gilbert Arenas will be signed to the Lakers are true, then that could tip the balance. As could a walk down the aisle, for that matter.

“We love each other,” says Laura of her on/off relationship with Arenas. “Yes, we have our ups and downs, but we have four kids together and like I tell most people, we are doing better than most married couples. We’re not announcing the date yet. When we do, it will be small and intimate. We actually got engaged three years ago. That ring that everyone saw is three years old. If anything, he needs to upgrade that ring. We’ve been together for 10 years.”

Ten years together, four kids, three years engaged and still no wedding date? What could these two possibly be waiting for…a sign from Jesus? Another kid to start their own basketball team? An E! special?

Shaunie O’Neal may be facing a potential legal problem if one of her ex-husband’s mistresses goes forward with plans for a tell-all book.

If you recall, it was reported that Shaunie approached Vanessa Lopez and was accused of trying “to convince Vanessa to go public about her affair with Shaq because that way Shaunie could accuse Shaq of adultery, which would nullify the pre-nup and give her more money in the divorce.”

It seems Vanessa ended up telling Shaq so that plan never came to fruition.

And now Radar Online says if Vanessa discusses this in a tell-all book, Shaunie may be the one facing trouble.

They report:

The plan ultimately backfired however. Lopez called Shaq and informed him of Shaunie’s plan and was advised by his divorce attorney not to meet at the last minute.

According to the insider, Shaunie is now facing a new problem: the man she confided in is now writing a tell-all book.

Shaunie signed a confidentiality agreement when she married Shaq,” the source said. “But then she went and told Shawn Darling personal things-including asking him to contact Vanessa Lopez and convince her to meet.

Now Shawn is threatening to expose Shaunie in the book and she’s scared, not only because she’ll be named, but because now Shaq could turn around and sue her for breach of contract.”

Love is in the air! I swear every other day I have a friend getting engaged or married and the bug seems to have bitten celebs these days too. Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh popped the question to his ladylove Adrienne Williams last Friday, August 27, the New York Post reports. The couple has been dating for about a year–girlfriend snagged Bosh while he was still playing for the Toronto Raptors. In July, the NBA star inked a $100 million deal to join LeBron James and Dwyane Wade on the Heat, which seemed to up his star power too: after the deal he had a cameo on HBO’s Entourage and shot a Got Milk? campaign. I wonder if he’ll be signing that good prenup and more importantly, how long before Shaunie and ‘nem try to recruit her for Basketball Wives?

Meanwhile actor Brian J. White (remember him from Stomp the Yard and Tyler Perry projects?) married his girlfriend Paula DaSilva over the weekend. She’s cute. Now can we put those rumors about him to bed once and for all?

Shaunie O’Neal’s boyfriend, model Marlon Yates, has been dropping cryptic tweets suggesting that he and Shaq’s ex-wife may be on the outs.

Here’s what Yates has been tweeting:

He also wrote, “So [I’m] stressed out, so tired, got to move on…” as if he were the product of some sad, simp-heavy R&B song.

If we didn’t know he was younger before, we do now thanks to his need to over share.

Whatever is going on through his mind, in the future I hope it runs through spell check.

People if you’re going to tweet learn the differences between to, too, and two and you’re and your. Not to be your English teacher or anything, but goodness, stop the madness.

TV producer, ex-wife and new sugar mama, Shaunie O’Neal was spotted over the weekend with her model boyfriend, Marlon Yates, at the gifting suite for the MTV Movie Awards.

Call it a hunch but I bet the real gift for Shaunie came from the photographers stationed at the event.

While Shaunie certainly hasn’t made her affinity for her younger man a secret, she has said previously that she didn’t plan on remarrying anytime soon.

That made it all the more easier to dispel rumors that she was ready for marriage number two.

Over the weekend Shaunie jokingly retweeted a message from her boyfriend on their rumored engagement:

Considering there was never a dull moment on the first season of Basketball Wives, it shouldn’t be surprising that the reunion people was just as contentious.

On the other hand, no one expected anyone to get arrested.

But that’s just what happen to cast member Suzie Ketcham after an on-camera confrontation turned so ugly that the LAPD had to be called.

According to Radar Online, Sandra – the infamous “groupie” that had her face accosted by Suzie’s drink on a previous episode – appeared and all hell broke loose.

A source explained:

“Suzie got really p—– off and just got up and left, but not soon after, she came back with a huge bucket of water and threw it at Sandra. Sandra tried to run away, but in the process, she slipped in the water and fell,” recounted the insider.

Sandra was hurt to the point where paramedics were called in. She was treated on set and ultimately the venue was locked down until police arrived to arrest Suzie.

Can’t wait to see that footage.

At this point I would be more surprised at a story about Shaunie and Shaquille O’Neal getting along than them beefing over something.

Last week it was Shaq pissed about Shaunie potentially playing him on national television.

Today it’s Shaunie angry over Shaq allegedly threatening to kill her new boyfriend, Marlon Yates, via their 6-year-old son.

Shaunie O’Neal’s lawyers just fired off a letter to Shaq’s people, claiming the bball star “interrogated” the couple’s children to tell him everything they knew about her new man … “to the point that they felt intimidated and scared of him.”

Shaunie also claims Shaq told their 6-year-old son to tell her boyfriend that Shaq “is going to kill him” — and that Shaq even screamed at the kid and said, “Say it now! My daddy is going to kill you!”

Shaunie’s lawyers are demanding Shaq halt “further inappropriate discussions” with their children — which is an alleged violation of the non-disparagement provision of their divorce judgment.

I know two people that need post-divorce counseling.

When Shaunie O’Neal married Shaquille O’Neal she signed a prenuptial agreement. That means if Shaunie was going to get a bigger paycheck out of the basketball legend she was going to need some concrete proof of infidelity.

So she hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on her hubby. That’s when Shaunie found out about Shaq’s multi-year relationship with Vanessa Lopez.

Radar Online reports:

Shaq has a prenuptial agreement with his wife and she needed information that he cheated to use as leverage for a better financial settlement, the source said.

And Shaunie got the leverage. In fact, after Shaunie discovered her husband’s long-running affair with Lopez and she approached Lopez – but not to rip into her, instead Shaunie wanted the affair made public!

“Shaunie tried to convince Vanessa to go public about the affair before Vanessa did go public,” the source told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “And she wanted Vanessa to go to the police too, based on allegations she heard about Shaq harassing her.

“What she discovered about Shaq and Vanessa, gave Shaunie the ammunition she needed to file for divorce and try to get the money she wants.”

Vanessa didn’t come forward when Shaunie asked her to, but Shaunie’s request set in motion the events that led Vanessa to publicly reveal her affair with the NBA star.

Lopez is currently being represented by Gloria Allred, a woman who would sue a man for stubbing her client’s toe so long as he were a celebrity.

So now you have Shanuie with all of the dirt she needed to get more from Shaq, and now Vanessa Lopez might have proof that might help her get money out of the big man in her harassment suit.

I suppose there aren’t any hard feelings. Just the other day Shaq tweeted something awfully nice about his ex-wife to which she replied with, “I love you.”
