There’s some great and not-so-great news for past and present cast members of the Real Housewives of Atlanta. On the positive side, Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida are expecting their second child. But on the downer side, former RHOA star Sheree Whitfield received a financial back-slap from her divorce lawyers.
In 2010, Sheree was sued by Weinstock & Scavo, the law firm that represented her in her divorce from former NFL star Bob Whitfield. The lawyers claimed the ex-reality star owed them up $165,000 in legal bills. Although she paid $69,000 to W&S for their services, she allegedly didn’t paid the remaining $96,000, claiming the firm was overcharging her. Unfortunately, for Sheree (and her pocketbook) a judge sided with the law firm and ordered the “Real Housewife” to cough up the balance along with interest, a total of $119,674. Ouch!
On lighter and loving note, blogs maybe wrong about Phaedra and Apollo heading to divorce court, but they would be right to report that the couple is headed to the maternity ward. The reality star couple are expecting baby number two, breaking the news exclusively to People. Maybe all of the complaining they did about each other during last week’s episode was just for the cameras!

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield had to correct a serious opps made by TV Guide… And things could gotten out of hand.
The magazine’s website mistakenly included a picture of Whitfield in a report about the untimely death of famed drag queen Sahara Davenport. But luckily, the reality TV star took the high road, taking to Twitter to kindly tell TV Guide to undo their error.
“I am sorry to hear about the lost of Sahara Davenport,” she tweeted. “My condolences go out to her family. Pls remove my picture from your website @TVGuide.” She added in another tweet: “Please keep Sahara Davenport family in your prayers.”
Sheree gets major props for keeping her cool in trying to rectify the issue…

Praise the genius that came up with this idea: TLC announced that it has partnered with True Entertainment–the production company behind The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Sister Wives–for a new series called Preacher Wives.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the series will not only follow strong-willed Atlanta women as they play out their role as preacher’s wives in the congregation, but also give a view of their home lives and how they balance both roles.
Can I get a hallelujah? Finally, a show worthy of filling the void left in our lives by the season end of RHOA. If PW comes close to the train wreck circus True Entertainment pulled off with it’s other hit shows, I’ll be clearing my prime time schedule in advance.
No premiere date has been set for the series, but us believers will be waiting for it like the Second Coming. If the network airs the show on Sunday mornings, can it count as going to church?

Give a girl a “Trump Check” and some plastic surgery and she loses her mind!
On this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Nene Leakes has given viewers a good laugh after insisting that she’s rich due to the money she raked in from the Celebrity Apprentice. But if you thought her delusions of grandeur were funny on the show, here comes the punch line: she recently announced on Twitter that she’s creating a custom T-shirt line that proclaims “I’m Very Rich Bitch!”
You might remember the “catch phrase” from an argument she had with Sheree during the show’s season premiere, but I’m not buying it. Not the statement or the T-shirt, especially considering she’s told a Twitter follower she plans to sell them for $150! Yep, you read that right: a hundred and fifty dollars.
Guess she’s got to find some way to come up with nine million for that home she was eying in Miami (still chucking at Kandi’s “new money” shade) that doesn’t include her going back to the pole.
I won’t knock the hustle, but I hope for her sake that she’s able to keep up with the Jones and stay “very rich” least she have to put her foot in her mouth (by the way if she was going to go there wouldn’t her “I Am The Jones” declaration have been cuter?).
Catch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo Sundays at 9/8c and if you can’t wait, tune into see Nene on The Wendy Williams Show today (November 16).

Last weekend, new Atlanta housewife, Cynthia Bailey, wed her longtime boyfriend in a ceremony that is believed to be featured on the season finale of the upcoming edition of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
When word got out that Cynthia’s fellow housewives would be in attendance, most of us expected there to be drama.
And according to Page Six, there was.
Page Six reports:
The wedding of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” newcomer Cynthia Bailey started and ended in drama. The Saturday nuptials in Atlanta to restaurateur Peter Thomas was held up for 45 minutes by castmate Nene Leakes, who barged into Bailey’s bridal suite and demanded her hair and makeup be done. Kim Zolciak then got into a tiff with her blond boy toy, who “was checking out a hot redhead while puffing a cigar. Kim caught him in the act,” said a witness. Sheree Whitfield, Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks attended, but not Lisa Wu Hartwell, who we hear is being axed. Bravo had no comment.
NeNe has taken to Twitter to deny the reports that she was cutting up for camera time.
Why do these bloggers lie so much! I went 2 a wedding demanding hair & makeup! Now y would I do that? I have my own team! Thank u
I caused drama @ a wedding! Yup that’s what I do now. Go 2 weddings & cause drama
The New York Post’s Page Six isn’t a blog site, but nevertheless that’s NeNe’s official denial.
As for Lisa Wu Hartwell not being there, welp, we told you all she was reportedly getting the boot. She has yet to tweet a denial so we’ll assume there’s still truth to it.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast attended a Dancing Stars of Atlanta Benefit in support of the Alzheimer’s Association over the weekend, but something isn’t right with this picture!
I had to do a quick double take and wondered who is that woman standing next to Sheree Whitfield? It’s NeNe Leakes of course and she’s sporting a new look!
Maybe it’s just some heavy contouring or maybe she got a plastic surgeon’s number from her good old friend Dwight. But, you can’t tell me that’s the same nose that NeNe had during the last season of the show.
I’m not knocking her. NeNe actually looked way more sophisticated than usual (although I credit the classic black dress that doesn’t have her boobs all out and her toned down makeup for that). I’m just saying, this Housewife might want to think twice before she calls anyone else out for their plastic parts becuase it looks like she joined the club!

The second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is over and apparently so are the housewives’ interactions with each other! We caught up with the crew at the Soul Train Awards in Atlanta where Kandi Burruss and Sheree Whitfield told us that (surprise, surprise) when the cameras stop rolling so do their “friendships.”
“It’s a working relationship,” Sheree told BET.com. “We don’t hang out. I don’t wanna say it’s just for the show. We were put on the show and we were not friends so it’s something that you have to build. Am I saying that would never happen, no I’m not saying that? But right now, it’s just a working relationship.”
We saw how Sheree works when she dealt with that party planner (veins popping, neck swinging, “who gon check me boo” screaming) and that sounds about right. Must’ve been an average day in the office when she rearranged Kim Zolciak’s wig?
“We do not make up things for TV,” Kandi told BET.com. “The arguments are real, the bonds…I don’t know about the bonds. I mean, of course because we have to be around each other for the show, you know? I don’t know if we would always hang out that much.”
We knew their TV-edited friendships were as fake as their “housewives” titles; at least they’re keeping it real! Then again, these ladies never were good at faking the funk.

Kanye might be going through a life spiral right now but his girl Amber Rose is still doing her thing! Earlier this week she turned up at Elle magazine’s 16th Annual Women in Hollywood event looking classy in a hip-hugging red dress and at the event she told the LA Times she doesn’t plan on giving up those curves anytime soon. She spoke about her contract with Ford Modeling Agency and said “I told them, Don’t ask me to grow out my hair or lose any weight. I want to represent real women who have curves.” I like that she’s keeping it real! She agreed not get any more tattoos until her contract is up, but when it is she wants a full sleeve tat. That woman could pull off almost anything!
Baby Makes Three
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are expecting their first child. The couple were high school sweethearts and married in 2005. The baby news comes just weeks after Paula told Giant magazine she had “stopped taking birth control” in an effort to get pregnant. Congrats to the happy couple! In addition to expanding their family, both the Thickes have new projects coming out. Robin’s latest single, ‘Sex Therapy,’ was released this week and Paula stars in the upcoming movie “Precious” (just went to a screening last night and it is heavy. Go see it when it hits theaters November 6th!).
The “Sixth” Housewife
The second season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta ended last night, but despite continuing to be portrayed as Nene’s “gay boyfriend” Dwight Eubanks sat down and told the folks at Black Voices that he doesn’t discriminate. “If I wanted to be with a woman, I will be with a woman, and if I want to be with a guy, then I will be with a guy,” he declared. “I like all fruits, but I do have a problem with [people] dwelling on ‘Dwight the gay housewife.’ Let’s get to know Dwight.” Dwight confirmed with Essence back in April that he’s engaged to a woman. I’d be interested to see him on his own show, but he doesn’t know if that will be a reality. Black Voices reported that he not sure what network execs have in mind for his own show. He added, “most days I don’t know what to do with myself. I know I am a lot.”
Speaking of Housewives Kandi Burruss is the next cast member to be bitten by the fashion bug! Luckily Dwight wont have to call her “dreadful” because she’s not trying to design. She recently opened a boutique called TAGS in Atlanta with her business partner Peaches Chin. Wonder if the boutique will carry “fashions” from She by Sheree and Closet Freak (Lisa Wu Hartwell’s line)?
That’s all for this week, we’ll be back on Monday!

I don’t know what Sheree did to her ex-husband, NFL player Bob Whitfield, but he has been going off about her on Twitter!
She’s painted a less than stellar image of him on her show Real Housewives of Atlanta before, blaming him for her house foreclosure and admitting she hasn’t seen a dime of the “seven figures” she fought hard to get out of him after their divorce. Guess he thought it was time to speak his piece. Look at the madness he’s been posting from his account @whatupbob:
The name calling, the demand for his last name back (Sheree still goes by Whitfield), the “black gloves” OJ murder trial reference!? Somebody’s bitter!

Fashion Week is fully underway in New York and while well-known designers are showing their Spring 2010 collections at Bryant Park, further downtown at The Red Bull Space Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Sheree Whitfield hosted a presentation of her debut line She by Sheree yesterday. I can’t lie, I couldn’t wait to see what these clothes looked like. If for nothing I knew I’d be in for some tomfoolery. If you watch the show, you know that Sheree has been trying to kick off her line for a while. She previously attempted to do a showing in Atlanta but ended up not having any “fashions” (as “5th housewife” Dwight would say) to show guests. There were actually clothes this time around–3-5 models displayed looks that rotated every half hour–and I was honestly surprised at the results.
The looks, which fall into a palette of black, gray, black, deep blue, and yellow, ranged from tailored dresses to jumpsuits in lace and satin. I heard someone criticize the collection as something you’d find on sale at Forever 21 or Target and others echoed that opinion of the clothes which start at a $200 price point. Sure, the production wasn’t flawless (hanging threads and ill fitting plagued some of the looks) but they honestly weren’t as dreadful as I thought they’d be and were a vast improvement from her last effort.
When I caught up with Sheree today for a brief moment at the Jill Stuart fashion show (yes she’s still making Fashion Week rounds!) she told me that her presentation was not without it’s snafus: “Anything that could’ve gone wrong went wrong, but in the end everything turned around and it was fabulous,” she said (and thankfully she didn’t have to go off on anyone this go round). She wants her clothes to feel accessible to a wide range of women: “I think She by Sheree is for women who love a great fitting. To me it’s about a great fit and having great fabric and women feeling confident in their clothes,” she said. ”That could be a younger girl or an older woman, but it’s for a woman who likes to be a little edgy but still classy.”
Take a closer look at some of the looks below. What do you think: dreadful, doable or delightful?
