Alicia Keys is known for many things singing, acting, producing and now apparently, accidentally breaking into Hampton mansions. Not exactly, but the “Girl on Fire” songstress had a lot of explaining to do recently when she and husband Swizz Beatz accidentally let themselves into the wrong home in Long Island, New York.
“We were going to a friend’s house so we put the address into the navigation,” Keys explained to OMG Insider. “The friend had mentioned that it was going to be very late so she left us a way to get in. It just so happened it was the same thing [at this other house]. We went in there and she described exactly what it ended up being, dogs barking and [having to] find a room.”
The actual owner of the home was startled by the noise she heard in her house and was shocked to find Keys and her hubby loudly making themselves at home in her kitchen.
Keys recalls, “We realized we were at the wrong place when [a strange] woman came out and said, ‘I don’t who you are or what you’re doing and why you’re here.’ It was really an honest mistake!”
In the end, the three reportedly had a good laugh about the situation and went their separate ways. Not sure what you think, but Alicia and Swizz home invasion would definitely make sweet music!

Jay-Z is already an overprotective daddy when it comes to his one and only Blue Ivy Carter, according to pal Alicia Keys.
The “Girl on Fire” singer stopped by the Wendy Williams Show this week to talk about her upcoming tour, and her son Egypt’s crush on little Blue. Keys reveals that Egypt, 2, tried to kiss one-year-old Blue during a recent playdate. “I don’t think Jay liked it very much. He told my husband, ‘Um, watch your son.’”
The thought of Egypt laying a wet one on Blue Ivy is just too much cuteness to bear, but the love doesn’t stop with the little ones. After the world aww-ed over a clip of Beyoncé and Jay-Z singing Coldplay’s “Yellow” to each other, Keys revealed a sentimental moment of her own.
When asked what was the best present she ever got from her hubby Swizz Beatz, she said, “this might sound strange but I think the favorite gift he ever got me [was] he got a tattoo of me on his arm. Of my face. He hid it. It’s so beautiful. He mixed it with some of his favorite artists…It’s so pretty.”
Can these people get any more cute/beautiful/romantic/perfect?

Talk about public displays of affection. Swizz Beats Tweeted the highlight of his birthday on September 13. No, it wasn’t the roller skating party that his wife threw him in New York.
“The best part of my Bday today was my gift to my wife because my Bday is her Bday:)” the rapper/producer Tweeted along with a picture of Alicia Keys posing by a pink Lotus.
The big splurge comes amid gossip that he cheated, but the couple has laughed off the rumors. “Happy Birthday to the most INCREDIBLE man I know!!!!! @therealswizzz !!! To A life of ENDLESS shining between us!” Tweeted Alicia. The singer added, “Haaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! Some things are just LAUGHABLE!!!!!! Now, Let’s Continue to SHINE!! Everything else is a waste of time!! Sending love!”

Professor Swizzy? Mr. Beatz? Students at New York University will learn what Swizz Beatz wants to be called tomorrow when he takes on a new post as the university’s first producer-in-residence in the Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at the Tisch School of the Arts.
In his new role, Swizz will host group lectures, one-on-one sessions and provide students with songwriting critiques while acting as a liaison between the school and music industry insiders. The industry heavyweight will hold his title from 2010-2011 and is already slated to visit NYU at least three times during the current semester: November 10, November 18 and December 3.
“I’m excited to be able to take my many years of experience in the music business and use it as an example to instruct students,” Swizz said in a press release. “The invitation from Mr. Davis and professor Rabhan is humbling and I’m honored.”
How tight would that be if he brought in some of his entertainer friends or even his wife, Alicia Keys, to sub?
