Apparently, singer turned reality show star Toni Braxton has hit a sour note with an advertising firm.

According to TMZ, a company called National Promotions & Advertising is claiming it entered into an agreement with producers of Braxton Family Values, which includes Toni, last year to promote season two of the series.

In exchange for posting BFV posters around the country Team Braxton was supposed to fork over $57, 322 to help spread the word.  NPA claims it completed their  part of the agreement back in November, but Braxton and co. never paid up.

A rep for Toni says the singer is not involved in marketing budgets for the TV series and that WEtv handles such decisions.

Looks like Tamar Braxton is having a hard time containing her jealousy. The Braxton Family Values star cooked up a side of beef with Jill Scott simply because Scott dared to praise another reality show on the WE network–Mary Mary–for it’s “real representations” of the Black community.

“Please watch Mary Mary on WE tv. Finally a real representation. Yay!!!!!!!!” Scott tweeted, to which a pissed off Tamar responded, “Of freaking what?”

The various Braxtons and their fans dog-piled on the feud, basically proving Scott’s point for her. One of Scott’s followers clarified the neo-soul singer’s point for her, saying “Just because I love oranges doesn’t mean I HATE apples.” Well played, @chinatay05.

We all know Tamar is sensitive as a time bomb (Tamar, homegirl, if you’re reading this, that wasn’t a diss!), but could she maybe possibly be taking this the wrong way? There’s plenty of room in the vast universe of reality TV for both their brands of drama. Real representations or real crazy, all that matters at the end of the day are real ratings, trust!

Is Eddie Murphy un-breaking Toni Braxton’s heart?

Rumor has it the comedian has been dating the sultry singer for four months and sources even told Us Weekly they’re “very serious” and “their kids have met and everything.”  Although Toni’s rep say they’re “just friends,” adding that they’ve “been fans of each other’s work a long time” (having a flashback to ’92 when Toni added her voice to Boomerang soundtrack song “Love Should’ve Brought You Home La st Night” and everyone knows Eddie starred in the film).

Toni’s lackluster love life was a major plot line for her on her family’s reality WE TV reality show Braxton Family Values. If she and Eddie  are actually dating, or you know if that “friendship” happens to develop into something more the Murphy/Braxton combination could prove to be quite an interesting Brady Bunch scenario worthy of a spin-off!  Eddie has six kids including five from his marriage to Nicole Mitchell who he divorced in 2005 and one from a romp with former Spice girl Mel B.  Toni had two kids with estranged husband  Keri Lewis of the R&B group Mint Condition.

Of course before the couple can really get serious Toni would probably want to file some official “walking papers” with Lewis. The two aren’t actually divorced and reportedly have no plans to legally cut the knot anytime soon.   Hmm….

Gabe Solis needs a padlock for his zipper. husband, whose infidelities have been well-documented on Braxton Family Values, has found himself stammering through yet another denial-apology-admission…this time, over allegations that he had cyber sex with a transgender woman.

TheYBF.com and Baller Alert did some investigating and found damning evidence that Solis has been getting dirty with one Julisa Abadashian on a social networking site, and there are pictures to prove it (NSFW unless you work from home…or in the adult entertainment industry). Gabe, of course, had an answer.

First, the denial:

“I am NOT into Trannies!!!! I am very heterosexual. I have no clue who the ladydude woman posted on the web is and I have never spoken to her/him/ or whatever they are claiming.”

Then, the apology:

“First off I want to apologize from the bottom on my heart to my Wife Trina who deserves NONE OF THIS. I have done many things that I am not proud of that I’m sure will all unfold in the coming weeks on the show, on the blogs, the newspapers and any other way it can unfold. I canNOT undo the past.”

And finally, an admission:

“Yes, I know I will be the target of many gossip bloggers because of my past record. Like I said, I have NEVER Resorted to same sex affairs or any physical affairs. I know that cheating is cheating and I am in no way making excuses. I am currently in therapy because I have a SEX Addiction Problem. I very much want the help that it will take to restore my family.”

As of now, no reports of a split between Trina and Gabe, so maybe as long as he’s not into “ladydudes” she’s willing to put up with his wandering snake. Or maybe she’s just waiting for the season finale to dump his ass (we hope).

Toni Braxton’s terrible year seems to have gotten far worse with a new revelation.

On top of disappointing sales of her latest album and ultimately filing for bankruptcy, it appears the R&B star has been diagnosed with Lupus.

While accepting a Women in Achievement award at the 8th Annual Lupus LA Bag Ladies Luncheon, Braxton told the audience:

“Today I’m going to talk about it because I’m a survivor and I’m here, and I don’t want to lose hope. Take a look — this is what lupus looks like.”

Toni then took to Twitter to share with fans and well-wishers that she feels a “relief” after coming forward.

Fortunately, Toni has many supporters – including the likes of Lady Gaga.

Billboard reports that in an ad placed in the program for the luncheon, the pop superstar wrote: “Toni, your strength is admirable. As a woman whose family has been affected by lupus, I understand your struggle and have you in my thoughts.”

Gaga herself revealed she had tested borderline positive for Lupus.

It’s just another sad love song for Toni Braxton. Sadly, the hugely talented singer seems to continue to serve as a walking, talking, & singing financial don’t.

Last year, TMZ reported that she was facing foreclosure on a condo in Century City.

This year, her home in Nevada is listed in foreclosure.

The six-time Grammy winner and her husband, Keirston”Keri” Lewis bought the home in Henderson, NV home in 2007 for $2.6 million. The couple separated late last year. The home is listed as a foreclosure on Realtor.com for $1.15 million. Listing pictures show that the home has been completely cleaned out. The home in the Seven Hills area of Henderson Nevada has four bedrooms, a pool, three-car garage and views of the surrounding desert.

I really hope Toni Braxton finds a way to recover and give her accountant a reason to breathe smile again.

Toni Braxton would like you to know that it wasn’t some other guy (you know, like Trey Songz) that broke up her marriage with producer and former Mint Condition member, Keri Lewis.

On her break-up:

“My heart is still broken – who knew a song about heartbreak would literally be my life? There wasn’t a third party involved – nothing like that. If there was, I’d have a whole different personality right now. Maybe it was the working together – the stress – that ended our marriage. But we are great friends still. I’m not happy about the marriage breaking up, but you gotta do what you gotta do – you know when things are dissolving.”

Although the two are separated, as she explained recently on The Wendy Williams Show, they still work together.

In fact, they haven’t decided just when they’ll start their divorce proceedings.

She explained:

“We haven’t talked about divorce yet. When you have a special-needs child that changes things. We’ll see what happens. I’m not eager for us to get back together again, but… I’m not eager to go any further than separation right now. I think for boys, it’s important for a father to be around and Keri is very active in their lives.”

Toni has also recently revealed that per doctor’s orders she can’t have anymore children:

“I’ve been advised not to have any more children for medical reasons, so that’s it – the shop has closed, even though I would have loved a daughter. But I’m stronger now, I pretty much lead a healthy, normal life.”

In recent months Trey Songz has been plagued with gay rumors, and now he’s finally publicly addressing them.

Though most initially dismissed the talk of Trey being linked to singer Brandon Hines anyway, Trey himself is now formally dismissing talk of him being trapped in the closet (pun intended).

Appearing on Angela Yee’s ‘The Morning After’ show on Sirius XM recently Trey had this to say:

“I mean, in this world today you gotta ignore ignorance. You gotta ignore stuff like that, being an artist, ’cause people gonna say things about me daily. It’s always something new about Trey Songz.

The bigger I get, the more s— pop up and it’s cool with me, ’cause that mean I’m popping, baby! Yeah … I’m so far from gay.”

He also spoke on those rumors about him breaking up Toni Braxton’s marriage.

He said: “We kissed, it was a mutual thing. She didn’t pounce on me.”

On word that her soon-to-be ex-husband got upset:

“I don’t know what happened. I don’t know anything about that. It was a show. It was a great moment. Who wouldn’t kiss Toni Braxton?

It’s a good thing Toni Braxton has songs like “Another Sad Love Song” and “Find Me A Man” in her catalog. She can sing it to herself every night until she finds husband #2. Essence.com reports that Toni has split with her Mint Condition husband, Keri Lewis.

The two have been together for eight years and have two children together.

The couple recently attended a taping of the Soul Train Awards together (set to air on BET/Centric November 29) — where Toni’s lips formally met the mouth of Trey Songz.

With financial problems and now a break-up 2009 doesn’t seem to be Toni’s year. Maybe once her new album drops in 2010things will look up.

In the meantime Toni and Usher used to be label mates, maybe he can recommend a divorce lawyer.

It’s really time for Toni Braxton to hire a new financial planner!

According to TMZ, the Grammy-award winning R&B singer has has defaulted on her mortgage payments – and now Bank of America is looking to foreclose her house. They claim she owes $12,503.20 on a place in Century City, California. Now that might sound like chump change for a celebrity, but that’s not the end of the star’s financial woes. Earlier this month City National Bank came after her for $657,567.54 and interest that’s over $44K when she failed to keep up with payments on a 2007 promissory note to the tune of $900,000.

Back in 1998 Braxton went bankrupt after she racked up $3.9 million in debt from financial mismanagement and all of her household possessions, including  her prestigious awards, were priced to sell so she could pay off her creditors.

The songbird ended a Vegas gig last year and word is her next album has been pushed back to February 2010. Looks like she needs to get on her job, because pretty soon  she’s not even going to have a door for all these creditors to knock on.
