NBC should give Samuel L. Jackson a check as a social media commentator.
The Avengers star spent the weekend diligently watching the London Olympics and speedily tweeting his observations and thoughts.
Along with checking out the handball, gymnastics, swimming and archery events, Jackson shot off his opinions and a little thrash talk, complaining that the US “got boned” in sync diving scoring and commenting on Michael Phelps’ loss to Ryan Lochte.
He also joined in the deluge of complaints over the China-manufactured American uniforms.
For all the micro-blogging the actor did, he should be getting paid by the post. If he’s not, he should get a “thank you” note from Twitter.

By now, people should know Twitter rumors are as legit as a Britney Spears singing live. Within an hour of a fake and grammatically incorrect press release that read Omarion is a “respectable, mature, proud, bisexual man” — Twitter blew up with “confirming his bisexuality” as a trending topic.
Well, it was just more Twitter foolishness. A statement was released saying, “The previously released statement regarding Omarion is false and was generated for negative publicity by an unknown person. Omarion will not contribute to anything negative said or done against him. Omarion respects all of his fans, no matter religion, sexuality, or race.”
The former B2K member added on Twitter, “Check it out ‘I DID NOT RELEASE THAT STATEMENT’,whatever you like is your business but I AINT GAY OR BISEXUAL,I love women PERIOD!!!!!!!”
These Twitter rumors are getting ridiculous. They just recently tried to kill off Keenen Ivory Wayans. Here is a rule – don’t re-Tweet or believe it until it’s confirmed outside of Twitter!
