If you are the Queen of Media, don’t get on the bad side of Janet Hubert. Just ask, well, self-described media queen Wendy Williams who reamed by the actress who played Aunt Viv on the groundbreaking sitcom Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Tatyana Ali did an interview earlier this week on The Wendy Williams Show. Along with dancing around questions about whether or not she slept with her celeb crush Drake, the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star was asked about the departure of Hubert from the show back in the 1990s. Specifically, Wendy asked why was the actress replaced. (Numerous reports say Hubert was fired because she didn’t get along with Will Smith.)
Needless to say, Aunt Viv was one of the hordes who Wendy’s talk with Tatyana, and gave her a piece of her mind via Facebook. “If you want to know something about me, or anything about my life,” Hubert wrote, “why not go to the horses mouth instead of being a horse’s a** and going to someone who was a little girl at the time, Wiggy Williams? How you doin!! Just saying it like I mean it sistergirl.”
She also appeared on Blog Talk Radio to read her open letter live and on the air, taking her insults of Wendy a bit further. “Wendy Williams, or whatever you are supposed to be, I’m not quite sure,” she said. “I’m writing you yet again, to appeal to your sense of womanhood or manhood as some suggest. Please close your mouth about things that you know nothing of.”
Will Wendy learn a lesson from tussling with Aunt Viv? No. At least no lessons she’s already learned, especially the one about insulting retorts via the web make for great publicity. But if she wants a bigger bang for her show, Wendy should invite Hubert on her talk show.

Did Wendy Williams mix some truth serum in with the bottled water in the green room of her show? The talk show queen somehow got a cast member from Basketball Wives to—gasp!—take personal responsibility for her actions on the show.
Tami Roman visited Wendy’s couch on Tuesday and admitted to her bad behavior toward Kesha Nichols on episode 13 of Basketball Wives. “It was a difficult time because the truth of the matter is I can’t let what someone is saying behind the scenes … what they’re doing … how they’re acting drive me to that level of frustration,” Roman said.
And then came the straight talk: ”At the end of the day the only person who I have to blame is me because I was the one who got up there and acted a pure fool—I’m openly admitting that—but I have since apologized to Kesha I have tried to take the responsibility behind my actions.”
But Tami’s not ready to take all the blame for the backlash against BBW. “A lot of people sit and point the finger and start boycotts and all of this other stuff, but nobody’s stepping up to the plate to mentor to help us,” she said. ”If you turn a camera around on anybody’s life for one day, everybody’s has a moment that they aren’t too proud of.”
The 41-year-old says she saw the light when she realized that her daughters, and probably all of their friends, indeed watch the show. “For me, I am raising my two daughters and this particular incident really taught me a valuable lesson … I wasn’t really acknowledging the platform that VH1 and Shed have offered me … I wasn’t really being responsible, you know,” Roman said, tearing up.
TR also dropped another bomb: she hinted that she may be leaving BBW altogether for greener pastures. “I just signed on to be a series regular for a new show, the network hasn’t made the announcement yet so I can’t really talk too much about it but you guys will see me actually doing a scripted program,” she said.
Wendy tearfully remembered Whitney on The Wendy Williams Show, just days after the iconic singer’s passing, but Janet wasn’t buying it.
“You said that morning with tears in your eyes, that you would not discuss Whitney any further, but you crucified her the whole time she was alive, as you do so many people on your show. I want to ask you why? What do you get out of this besides money?” Janet asked Wendy in an open letter obtained by Eurweb.
Wendy rose to fame in the early ‘90s spilling all the tea on celebrities lives on the radio and though she still follows celeb shenanigans on her current TV show, the entire production is much more tame. Still Janet wondered: “How do you sleep at night knowing that you are one of the biggest bullies in the world disguised as HOT TOPICS? Celebrities are not topics we are people, just like everyone else…”
The actress also took Wendy to task for comments made about Janet Jackson and “others you slam on a daily basis.” She ended the letter with a warning: “You need to stop Wendy. We need to stop, and the world needs to stop. I need to stop as well. There will be no more quotes from me to be misquoted. We need to join together,” she wrote. “You will not always be up, you will not always be on the A-list and attend all the parties. Ride the wave, sister girl, but make sure you know how to swim when the ride is over.”

Apparently LaLa Vazquez isn’t getting a “Sunbeam” style welcome from the wives of the New York Knicks players.
Though LaLa and her hubby Carmelo Anthony moved to New York City a couple weeks ago when he joined the NBA team, LaLa told Wendy Williams she hasn’t met any of the other player’s wives. Wendy asked Lala how she was being received (after likening her to a First Lady), and she replied, “I didn’t meet any of them … I went to the games, and I was looking for the family room and where the wives hang out, but I haven’t found it yet.”
“I smell shade—why?” Wendy asked.
“I don’t know,” LaLa said. ”I haven’t found it, I’ll keep looking and maybe some of them will approach me and say hello. I’m the new girl—I think like they should be welcoming me!”
Do you think the Knicks wives should pull out the welcome wagon for LaLa?

Wendy’s pulling out her dancing shoes! The daytime talk-show diva is reportedly putting The Wendy Williams Show on hiatus next month to two-step on the new season of Dancing With the Stars.
In the past, Wendy has thrown criticism at contestants on the show—specifically Kate Gosselin, who the TV host said “dances awkward and horrible”—so it’ll be interesting to see how she fares when she’s the one standing in front of the judging table. I’m not sure if she can actually bust a move or not, but it’ll definitely be entertaining to watch her try. If anything, you know she’ll turn out those sparkly costumes!
After ruling the radio, Wendy’s really making her TV rounds. In addition to her show and new dancing gig, she’s also hosting a new GSN show called Love Triangle, which she tapes in L.A. on weekends. Get it!
The complete cast for the 12th installment of Dancing with the Stars will be announced Feb. 28. The show debuts March 21.
Wendy’s taking a break from her day-time show to dance—do you think it’s a good move?

Despite noting that she has gained some weight since the holidays, it appears that Wendy Williams is keeping it tight and right by the pool.
The talk show host made it known that she is a fan of plastic surgery back in her days of radio. From the looks of it, she picked the right doctor.
It’s a good thing, too, because you know some of the less fortunate plastic surgeon victims are hobbling around looking like they need the extra skin hanging from their bones to fill out their decaying nose.
Anyway, enough of the random fledgling female rappers reference, check out Wendy’s bikini body below:
The Queen of Soul called into The Wendy Williams Show today and told the host that her health is “superb” and that she’s relaxing at a casino hotel in her hometown of Detroit. While she has two more weeks of down time as she continues her recovery, Franklin said she hopes to be travelling again soon and noted she’ll be ”looking for a fabulous beach.” She also added that she has a “man” after Wendy asked if she had a boyfriend, so hopefully that man is helping her recuperate!
The 68-year-old was admitted to the hospital back in December for the surgery and it was said to be successful. In November she suffered broken ribs and abdominal pain after a fall and announced that she was cancelling all concert dates and personal appearances through May. Today she vowed to reschedule all concerts she’s missed.
In other news, Aretha also confirmed that Halle Berry will be playing her in an upcoming biopic. Interesting! Click here for the details.

Yesterday, Keyshia Cole stopped by The Wendy Williams Show and after her performance she discussed her marriage plans with fiancé, Daniel “Boobie” Gibson of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Keyshia told Wendy Williams that the two have discussed plans for a February wedding, saying she would like a “giant” ceremony to possibly take place in Bora Bora.
Keyshia was then asked about her mother Frankie, who is currently undergoing treatment for drug addiction on Celebrity Rehab.
On whether or not Frankie is doing better, Keyshia explained to Wendy:
“I’m just hoping for the best. I can’t say if she’s doing good or bad, because I really don’t know. It’s so hard to tell with all the ‘I’m doing great! I’m doing great!’ And then you see her and it’s like no. I’m just praying, because I’d like for her to be a part of my child’s life.”
“Everything about that is all fictitious,” Milian said on The Wendy Williams Show. “Everything…the gag order. I’m completely allowed to speak about anything that I want to. Except the settlement, we do choose to not make that public.”
The singer said the rumor spread after a credible news source picked it up off the Internet, but she maintains that her relationship with The-Dream remains amicable. “I didn’t want to fight…I really want my daughter to have her father around and to have a friendship, to try to build somewhat of a friendship for my daughter, and have some kind of relationship to be able to speak to each other about her every day. I didn’t want to fight. I’m moving on.”
Although she did mention she’s still holding on to one part of the marriage: she still has the ring. My girl! Hopefully the part about her getting a good settlement and child support comes true too. If The-Dream has ends to take his side pieces on vacation, we know he’s got the means to do right by his daughter. At least it’s nice to hear that the divorce isn’t as ugly as the rumors had it.

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes hit The Wendy Williams to dispel rumors (fanned by fellow Housewife Kim Zolciak and, well, Wendy herself) that she’s been cheating on her husband of 13 years with NFL player Charles Grant.
“No I’m not dating Charles Grant,” NeNe said. “I have never had an affair. Why do people think I would have an affair? Wendy, I’m a mom…I love my husband very much. I’m a very committed wife, and I have been for years.” Although she admits: “Greg and I have not denied we have issues in our marriage. I said to him I’m going to take off my ring and when some things change around here I’ll put it back on.”
Next Wendy asked NeNe about her son’s arrest for minor marijuana possession and NeNe trys to play off the reports saying that technically he was arrested for outstanding tickets:
“He said he was vising a friend [in jail] and he was going to show his ID,” the reality star said, “they saw where he had tickets that he had not paid so he was arrested for the tickets and then they pat you down and he had crumbs or whatever in his jacket, it was less than an ounce so it had to be crumbs.”
Sounds like a classic case of ”what had happened was” to me… and of course there was that second arrest.
Why is the Housewives off-camera drama more entertaining than what we see on the show!?
