Ciara’s got a serious shoe addiction! The Ride singer told Pride magazine that she spends “about $11,000 a month” on shoes and owns “maybe a thousand pairs.” Since entertainers are normally gifted or loaned designer clothes and accessories, I’m going to guess girlfriend has a serious fetish if she’s shelling out that kind of money a month! Reminds me of a Sex and the City “Carrie” quotable: “I like my money right where I can see it: in my closet.”
Ciara stepped out in $1,725 VersaceMedallion metal platform sandals at Maxium’s 11th Annual Hot Party.
“When I go shopping, my most extravagant purchases are normally going to be shoes,” Ciara told Pride. “I just love shoes and go for what’s hot. I like everything from Louboutin and Dr Martens to Versace and Fendi.” And the ATL shawty doesn’t think her habit is out of control: “A person should always be able to afford to buy extravagant shoes,” she says. “It depends on the items, but, on an average shopping trip I probably spend a minimum of $1,200. It’s not that bad! On average, I will spend about $11,000 a month [on shoes].”
Hopefully she’s throwing at least that much in the bank for savings too, I mean it is still a recession and albums aren’t selling the way they used to! Ciara’s hefty monthly bill probably doesn’t even get her a dozen pairs of shoes considering the brands she’s talking about is. Is her shoe splurging fly or just crazy?

That’s cute, I love shoes too but what about taking half of that money and blessing the shoeless and buy some children some new shoes for school and put a big smile on their cute little faces Roger that!!!

That is ridiculous! I agree use that money to bless someone else. It’s amazing how people with really large amounts of money spend it on purchases that make no sense. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ok to splurge however there should be a limit. In addition to helping others, how about paying off your house/condo (I don’t know which one she has) so that it is outright yours? Or even paying off or helping people catch up on their mortgage? Buy shoes, clothes or food for a family in need. I saw on Oprah where Will I Am paid off 2 families mortgages who got behind on their payments because of job loss and/or sickness. I just don’t understand, I wished I in were in the position to do more for others.
It’s cool as long as here pockets are long enough to stand it. And I’m sure she already donates to charities and pass clothes and shoes down to fam, friends and the community. So don’t judge my girl Ci-Ci!!!!

I agree with some of the above posts that’s just ridiculous spending on average $11,000 a month on shoes alone. That is a lot of money to spend a month and based on the brands she buys that doesn’t add up to a lot of shoes. I also wish that more celebrities or people in general that are well off to help others in need would do so. I don’t know if she does help others in need or give to charities, but if she doesn’t that’s a waste. Then again some people will say you can’t tell other s what to do with their money. She should be smarter and put some of that money into savings as well, she just might need it. If I had money like that I would definitely help families and children in need (just my opinion).
