I like Kelis. I like her style and her attitude. Too bad it isn’t reflected in this pic. I’m w/ Kadi—I rock all of this stuff separately. Her hair color is fly, but the cut is atrocious. Her legs are gorgeous. I think she needs to go back to the chalk board and get this thing situated. I’m ready for some new music from her as well.

Kelis is actually working on her new album with producers Cee-Lo Green, Guy Chamber, and Raphael Saadiq. A single will release later this year.
Just because she’s not successful in the U.S., doesn’t mean she’s not a successful artist. She’s huge in the U.K. and other parts of the world. It’s great because they seem to appreciate good music, more than the U.S. Another thing, Kelis isn’t big because she’s different and her record labels didn’t know how to promote her. Plus, BET didn’t play her videos when she first came out because they felt her music wasn’t “URBAN” enough.

And thats what really disappoints me about BET. Not all black artists make hip hop & R&B. BET should be alot more open to black artists that don’t do urban music. Not every singer wants to sing about cheating lovers, and the same ol’ cliche’ R&B music.
We got Rihanna running all over acting like she’s so unique when CLEARLY she’s swagger jacked Kelis’s style. But Kelis isn’t mad because she set trends, in every way, shape, or form. She’s the reason every R&B female cut their hair. Am I lying? Thats what trendsetters do and she’s definitely one.

I never liked Kelis’s music. She just doesn’t do it for me…nothng is memorable about her she hasn’t left her mark…So, come back from what.! The only thing she got going for her is she’s Nas’s wife..but then too so what!!!!

Kelis is a very pretty girl. But that hair color and outfit has to go. I do believe she is a trendsetter but this is not working. Keep doing your thing but not in that hair color and outfit. I love the hair cut and make up
