I thought she was simply beautiful..true elegance . I think the sketches I have seen from essence and here was over the top. I think she made wise choice because she is not a flashy person, anything full of glitter would have not been her. I loved the dress, it is something I would pick, it was flowy with detailed flowers on it, and sexy (it don’t show alot of skin,but enough). Michelles choice of Jason Wu as the designer represents Jason Wu’s designs of Ethnic Dolls~Fashion Royalty Line. His line represents sheik, sexy, sultry, sophisticated and safe designs geared to coloured women with figures. She definitely stepped away from traditional chloices of First ladies but it represents Michelle, her style and her individualism and it also keeps her young, fresh and like most of us, wanting a fairy tale ending. Although her gown was slightly long, she carried herself with elegance and confidence. She definitely compliments her husband and if she needed anyones approval it would be the President of U.S. And she got it. Keeping it real means money and fame does not change us, so I think she was dreamy in her dress. Non Tradional, non Urban, unsexual- I’d say it was elegant, sexy, stylish, classy and really showed off her complexion, srong, black and beautiful.

I think that this dress was perfect. She’s not going to a VH1 or BET awards show. She’s at the inaugural people! She doesn’t need to dress flashy and showy. That dress was conservative as well as sexy and sophisticated all in one. She is now a role model and obviously plans to dress like one. Duh! I think some people have just lost sight of boundaries.
