Pose for the camera now flick, flick!
Brandy is really doing her thing on Dancing With the Stars. Yesterday she did a shoot with OK! Magazine to promote the show and dressed up in bold colors and big hair. Check out her closeup:
The R&B singer also posed with her dance partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy for the spread:
In between snapping pictures, Brandy told “ET” that she’s usually a ”t-shirt, jeans girl,” but she admitted she likes to dress up for the show. ”I think the costumes make you dance better,” she said.
Raven-Symone has also been working it for the camera lately. Photographer Marisa Leigh just released the photo below of the Disney star who is looking all grown up these days. Leigh didn’t say what the shoot is for, but whatever it is Raven is bringing it!

Ciara has unveiled the cover for her latest single “Gimmie Dat“…again. The R&B singer recently Tweeted: “Hey guys! I know I sent u a single cover 4 Gimmie Dat already, however I got inspired & decided to change it to this!”
The new artwork was shot by photographers Gomillion and Leupold who did Brandy’s latest photo shoot for 160 Grams magazine and features a screaming Cici, mid jump in the rain. She’s scantly clad in what looks like a bikini, mesh top and rugged boots. Hmmm I wonder what exactly inspired that?
In the first version she’s wearing a fitted, cargo pants, sneakers and a belly-bearing T. The outfit gives off a sexy tomboy swag that’s sexy without trying so hard.
“Gimme Dat” is a up-tempo, bass thumping beat that will be on Ciara’s upcoming album Basic Instinct. The first album cover is actually a bit sleepy for the track, but I still think I like that picture better!
Which one are you feeling the most?

We see you Bran-Nu.
“No doubt she’s back!” 160 Grams magazine proclaimed on the cover of their July/August issue featuring Brandy. After a period of reflection, the singer is ready to put another stamp on the music industry with an upcoming album that will involve heavy production by Timbaland with a heavier hip-hop sound and she’s definitely stepping up her fashion game with the music.
Brandy hit the cover in a sexy peach structured swimsuit by William Tempest and bracelets by Leslie Danzis and Lee Angles and she sizzles in the rest of the shoot. Check out some of these fresh pictures.
Sultry poolside fashion spread.
Give me those boots!
Brandy’s one of those stars that a lot of people grew up with: from her music who made us all “Wanna be Down” to her sitcom forays on shows like Moesha and she keeps looking better with time. It’s nice to see the vet continue to evolve.

The Norwood’s look right in white!
Fresh off the news that they landed a second season of their hit reality series Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business, the Norwood family took a new round of family promo photos. Isn’t this one of Brandy and her mother, Sonya, too cute?
They also took one with the entire family. Aww Wait a Minute, I see Ray J trying to look good for the ladies!
I love the crisp white in this shoot! It reminds me, Memorial Day is rapidly approaching and it’s the unofficial start of the “white clothing” fashion season (although real fashionistas know that there is no such thing as fashion rules!). It’s about that time to break out summer whites in cotton and breezy linen! You can “Yup” in a white tee, but there are sophisticated ways to do it: try a blazer or white skinny jeans or even a tailored skirt. A trick to buying a piece you can wear all year long: pick an item that’s slightly off-white or even cream.
If you’re not into white clothes, add a bright punch to you outfit with white accessories. A white bag, sunglasses, or a watch adds a fresh touch (I just personally steer away from white shoes! It’s way too easy for them to look tacky unless they are mixed with color). White on white can look nice, but if you’re accessorizing a white outfit, gold or silver jewelry can add a nice contrast so does a pop of bright color.
How will you wear white this season?

I Wanna Be Down. Sigh.
Too matchy-matchy perhaps? Logo overload?
Agreed. She looks pretty. Perfect weave, good amount of makeup, cute bag …
But, if I were to own that same outfit, I’d leave the boots in the box, got creative with it, or added some color, split up the browns, something! It’s like a set. And fashionistas hate sets.
